works as described--solid hunk of metal.
If you have a majestic head and regular tripod legs, this is a necessity--the only way to attach them. Works well, just a simple very solid hunk of aluminum, nothing to break or go wrong.

just what I needed.
with out this adapter, I would not have been able to use my "Majastic" head with my "Gitzo" carbon fiber legs.
