The Chromata White technology ensures a bright white surface on the canvas, which is typically challenging with OBA-free products. It provides a stable platform for printing, eliminating metamerism or color shift issues common with other canvases.
Being archival certified means the canvas is certified to last for 100+ years. This certification indicates the enduring quality of the canvas and its ability to preserve prints for a long time.
The canvas maintains consistent color under varying light conditions due to the absence of Optical Brighteners (OBAs). OBAs often cause metamerism, a problem where a print can appear different when viewed under various light sources. As this canvas is OBA-free, it assures color consistency.
Yes, the Chromata White Canvas guarantees no cracking or tearing when stretched, especially when varnished with Timeless Gloss, Satin, or Matte. This ensures the integrity of your prints.
This canvas is an excellent choice for professional photographers and artists who require a reliable, high-quality canvas for printing photographs and fine art giclees.

I have been professionally printing for over 20 years. I've used other canvas and this is now the ONLY canvas I'll ever use again.

Using Epson Pro 3800 to print on this canvas. Unable to find 100% cotton canvas in our price range, so switched to this item. Mfg. claims 100 year archival (even though 60% is polyester). No added brighteners. No sheen to surface. Truly a fine matte surface.

I've been using this canvas for years and never had a problem. It profiles well and has excellent dmax and color gamut and the fact that it's now available at Adorama is wonderful rather than waiting for it to ship from across the country.

An exceptional choice for professional photographers and artists, the Chromata Bright White Matte Poly-Cotton Inkjet Canvas is a 19 mil, 450 gsm canvas that offers a superior printing surface. This archival certified, OBA-free canvas is renowned for its bright white, consistent poly-cotton blend and matte finish, providing an acid-free, neutral pH coating that ensures the longevity of your prints.
Introduced in 2005, Chromata White was the groundbreaking OBA-free canvas that transformed the giclee printing industry. Its unique composition delivers an incredible color gamut and Dmax, characteristics that are synonymous with all Breathing Color inkjet media.
