We have been having trouble with other canvas, the ink was actually coming off when we varnished the print.   This Lyve Canvas took care of that problem.

Great Canvas

I love so many things about this canvas. I just finished printing a few pieces and hung them alongside the same prints on other canvases I had in my studio. No yellow tinge to the Lyve canvas. The white is clear and clean, but not plastic or cheesy looking. One of my prints has much white space, so this was a big deal. Another is full saturated color, and the whites in that are in harmony with the print, a beautiful even tone across the canvas. I also love the texture of this canvas. It retains a very classy looking canvas texture. Finally, very resilient. I've used other canvases that kink or chip easily. This is a soft canvas and the ink stays in place. I've been disappointed by the look and feel of all digital canvas prints I've seen in the past, mostly mine and sometimes others', but this has a beautiful surface. Completely sold.

Excellent Ink Jet Canvas

I've used lots of canvas over the years, actually since the beginning of fineart inkjet printing, and I've seen all sorts of problem, but at this point in the craft I would expect that coating coming off or easily scratched would be a thing of the past. I'm returning the last two rolls for credit because the image comes right off. This is a nice canvas otherwise, but I'd suggest testing each roll when you get it as this seems to be a continuing problem with BC canvas in general. I had the same thing happen with Chromata White too.

If you're looking for an archival quality canvas to print on, this is it. I've been using Breathing Color Lyve canvas exclusively in my printing business for over 3 years now. It isn't the cheapest canvas around, but I believe you get what you pay for. Especially if you're printing for high end customers that resell their work and you want to have the confidence that it will last.
