After tour managing the Bee Gees in 1968, and engineering in studios to include the Record Plant, LA in 1972, I was in radio on-the-air for some 40 years. The majority of that time was about 23 years as part of the Jefferson Pilot Broadcasting family on KYGO-FM, Denver, followed by KCKK-FM, a Lincoln Financial station acquired from Jefferson Pilot. All that time, I used two pairs of DT-102 headphones exclusively. There were two, because the first pair "went missing." You cannot beat them, and I used the one sided phones because it helped enormously to articulate by hearing my natural voice through the uncovered ear, while I could follow the segues and other on-air events coming through the 102's in the other ear. As a recording engineer, I cherished the special microphones I used, and while also used in studio work, the Beyers also always gave me a completely accurate representation of the audio I was working on. Thank you!!! Chuck Leary (see Google for radio history, and associated Discography for studio work.)
