Well constructed solid black muslin background. Worked really well on its maiden voyage. Set up a photo booth at a theme party. Easy to slide into the cross beams, and easy to fold up after.

it was easy for me to assemble . i have used it many time . i have found i like set at 6 foot up . then pull the extra out to stand on . now 20' is long i got room for it . i so like it !

It works well for indoor shoots, its a fairly thin sheet. I compare it to a normal bed sheet. It feels solid and it'll do its job well. I enjoy mine, its easy to set up and use. I iron mine. I use a large heavy blanket on the floor as an ironing board. I steam out most of the wrinkles, i let the lens do the rest. For the cost and vibrance of the black, its worth the buy.

I purchased this for indoor newborn shoots. As a mostly natural light photographer I and hadn't worked with a backdrop before but stepped into newborn photography and realized quickly I needed an indoor backdrop setup. Newborns are just not prepared for outdoor elements and clients had definite ideas on black backdrop images. I purchased this before my first shoot and the images were amazing. I did darken the backdrop in photoshop but was ridiculously easy. The Muslin is heavy enough to give a great black background and this set up was less expensive than other products out there and I felt I got more for my money. Having never worked with a backdrop or stand I do have to say I was disappointed to have found no directions in the box but it was an easy set up and didn't take me more than a few minutes to figure it out. If you plan to take it with you to an on location shoot, you'll need two people to stand it up. I couldn't be happier with this purchase. The size of the backdrop is amazing. Tall enough and long enough to get standing families with no problem. I highly recommend this!

Used product for a special shoot.It was painted with a special logo and took the paints wonderfully.The logo actually looked chromed. There was no bleed thru from the lights and the photo's turned out fantastic.

Lighter than other Muslin backgrounds I have bought and does not hold the fold crese or rinkles like others (unless you like that sort of thing). Easy to work with when setting up.

Good background, just get a bag or container for storage or transport. The plastic bag it comes with is prone to split easily, but background is fine.

Great drop for the price, but be careful if you might have light behind it. The material transmits light throught it readily. The drop has a great flap for your support to slide throught, one on top and a smaller on on bottom. I would buy it again!

Do a Google search on Black Muslin Backdrop and see how many hits you get--and notice the price range! I was worried buying this because it was so inexpensive. But it's a good muslin in every respect. I am completely pleased.

I guess they just don't make muslins like they used to. I have 3 muslins purchased several years ago, and it is heavy/canvas like material. This item is something I can purchase in any sewing/fabric store in the US for a fraction of the cost. It is a very thin material, the type you'd make a shirt out of. Save your money and go to a fabric store and buy a piece of black cloth because that's what your getting here.

Works well for clean background for portraits, used draped or pulled tight for seamless look. Very functional and easy to wash.
