Cannot get wrinkles out of it even with ironing.  The one I got had a green cast to the grey color

I needed a neutral color muslin for headshots and this worked out great.  I would recommend this backdrop.

Works fine

I do not shoot much on white but I got tired of white paper and the associated issues with it.  This works great on my backdrop track and is just perfect for what I needed.

Just what the Dr. ordered

The fabric quality is good, but does require a good steam iron.  The one I received had a grease type stain on it.  I contacted customer service and they sent me a return label.  It's a little inconvenient, but I'm sure the replacement will be fine.  The three stars is because of the wrinkled fabric.  I think it will require a touch up iron each use.  I was hoping for a more wrinkle resistant fabric.

Heavy quality, but wrinkles easily

Well constructed solid black muslin background.  Worked really well on its maiden voyage.  Set up a photo booth at a theme party.  Easy to slide into the cross beams, and easy to fold up after.

Solid background

The background arrived on time and in good condition -- it seems like a truly decent product. However, the fabric did seem a little thin. This was my first experience with muslin, so perhaps I just did not know what to expect!

Good for its price, just not thick so will let moderate light through.

it was easy for me to assemble . i have used it many time . i have found i like set at 6 foot up . then pull the extra out  to stand on . now 20' is long i got room for it . i so like it !

easy to use

Not bad for the price.  All-in-all it was exacted what I had expected and what I needed.  A bit on the thin side but as long as you set up against a wall without windows or lighting you should be fine.  Good value purchase.

I use it as a background.  It is a large size, neutral color and accents the subject.

Virtually impossible to keep wrinkle-free.

Performs as advertised

I use the product as a backround in my amateur portrait studio. What is good: It does the job as intended, has a 4 inch hem to thread through the backround support bar, and has grommets if you want to hang it like a curtain. What I don't like: Though it was packaged nicely it is folded in such a way that there are creases in the material. I bought a $35 steamer and that pretty much did the trick. I would recommend this product highly.

The product is fine

I used this backdrop as part of a pre prom fashion show shoot, it worked fine. Nice weight, perfect size and the white was bright. I would have given it 5 stars but the stiches on one hem were a little ragged. Not that it bothered me ( I have a sewing machine) but someone else might want a better job

Quality at an affordable price

I bought this to make a blacked out studio backdrop in my room. I turned it sideways to cover a three wall space and had the bottom taken in so it wasn't dragging on the floor. It doesn't allow any extra light to seep in from the walls and created the perfect studio on the cheap.

As Advertised!

Exactly as advertised.  Good deep color and heavy enough to provide solid background.  Easy to handle.

Perfect

This was just what I needed and Adorama pulled through like no other.  I was able to pull this background straight out of the box , put it on my frame and start shooting!  I was shooting against a neon pink wall and had no color leakage at all.  All photos came out with a pure white backdrop just as planned!

Excellent item, Little creasing

I've bought Belle Drape muslin before and have been happy with the colors and how close they resemeble what I'm looking for. This is not dark gray at all. Medium gray at best. Definitly returning these.

Not worth it

I have a home studio for just family portraits.  The large size is a must for 4 year old twins that want to move, rather than sit still.

It works well for indoor shoots, its a fairly thin sheet.  I compare it to a normal bed sheet.  It feels solid and it'll do its job well.

I enjoy mine, its easy to set up and use.  I iron mine.  I use a large heavy blanket on the floor as an ironing board.  I steam out most of the wrinkles, i let the lens do the rest.

For the cost and vibrance of the black, its worth the buy.

A beautiful and simple black background

Good for its cost, Its about as thick as a normal bed sheet.  Mine had a few noticable flaws in the sewing, but its not bad enough to want a new one.  For the cost its a very good buy.  

Its thin, so I dont recommend it for outside use.  It'll allow stray light to penetrate from the back.  Its great for studio use though.  I enjoy mine.  

I've learned the best way to use it is put a heavy bed sheet on the floor then put this over top of it and just iron out most of the heavy wrinkles with some steam.  I would not recommend putting it directly on the floor if you are going to steam it... there's no where for the steam to go.

Yes, it is thin. Didn't seem to show any light through it though and I did not have it smack against a wall. I had lights on in my studio. Don't want to have it backlit though as those lights might show. I think for the price it is servicable. Seems long altough I did not measure. Don't see using it all that much but when the need arises. I didn't iron it and didn't have any problems with fold marks showing on the black.

Works

I purchased this for indoor newborn shoots.  As a mostly natural light photographer I and hadn't worked with a backdrop before but stepped into newborn photography and realized quickly I needed an indoor backdrop setup. Newborns are just not prepared for outdoor elements and clients had definite ideas on black backdrop images.  I purchased this before my first shoot and the images were amazing.  I did darken the backdrop in photoshop but was ridiculously easy.  The Muslin is heavy enough to give a great black background and this set up was less expensive than other products out there and I felt I got more for my money.  Having never worked with a backdrop or stand I do have to say I was disappointed to have found no directions in the box but it was an easy set up and didn't take me more than a few minutes to figure it out.   If you plan to take it with you to an on location shoot, you'll need two people to stand it up. I couldn't be happier with this purchase.  The size of the backdrop is amazing.  Tall enough and long enough to get standing families with no problem.  I highly recommend this!

Excellent buy for the money!

if you buy this or any of the color variations you will be doomed to iron and steamer duty for hours before the shoot. they are exteremly thin and wrinkle like crazy. they dont block light either so if you dont have a wall behind them youll need something to cut the light. you will also be very unlikey to get all the wrinkles out. after shooting on this backdrop i was told "get rid of the sheet your room will make for a better backdrop".. you wont look like a pro with a studio youll look like a guy with camera shooting a wrinkled sheet at home.
