I prefer this over the Tesla model because the headband is more flexible. Same great German construction and Hi Fidelity as expected.

These are very nice on-ear headphones for the price with great detail from treble to bass. I have had no trouble placing them on my ears in a way that ensures good fit and sound. As others have noted, there is a moderate (some would say severe) amount of clamping pressure. Recommended.

I've owned DT1350 (32 ohms impedance) for over a month and used it for over 20 hours. The sounds (esp. bass) are clean and accurate. Compared to my Sony MDR-7506, the sound reproduction from jazz and human voices are more real. I hear all the page turns, breathing and even seat creaks of live performances. Even though it is not a noise-canceling headphone, it seals out most of the noise (I haven't tested it on a flight yet). The construction is solid - use of lightweight aluminium in places where other manufacturers use plastic, making it very portable. Comes with a 1/4 inch adaptor and twin 3.5mm adaptor for airline earphone jack, in a semi-hard case with velcro strap to close it (no zipper to seal it entirely).

Sound quality is very good. Just a little bit bulky, but that is expected.

Great headphones at a great price. German made , not the plastic from China!

Very nice headphones - sound is great. I'd describe it as "neutral" - the bass isn't wildly pronounced, but it's not lacking either, and the same is true for the higher registers. I generally prefer headphones which surround my ears, rather than those that sit on the ears. These fall into the second category, so I find myself only wearing them several hours at a stretch before wanting to remove them for a bit. That said, they're certainly not uncomfortable - I just find the prolonged pressure on my ears a bit too much for long periods of time. Even with all that said, however, these are great, and I use them on a regular basis.

I own several other quality cans and these sound as good or better. I can hear nuances in music that lessor headphones would miss entirely. These are on ear CLOSED back so they bring those characteristics to your ears. They sound wonderful. My only complaint is the comfort. These clamp my ears terribly. Granted I'm coming from HD600 (over ear...Super comfortable) to on ear so some clamping force is to be expected. I can get about an hour max before my head feels like it's in a vice. Hopefully with time they will loosen up or I can flex them out a bit to lessen the pressure.

I listen to classical and jazz. Extremely well built and adjustable, lightweight. Bass is remarkable. Highs are clean and natural. Very easy to pick out individual instruments and voices. There is a break in period, so, give the drivers time to deliver the sound they are capable of producing. Do experiment with the right earphone placement, your efforts will be rewarded.

Returned these (a bad set) after one day. Compared to Sennheiser Momentem and HD569 the DT 1350 were muddy with overwhelming bass (not a good thing), missing instruments from a variety of songs covering jazz, country, electric dance, and classical genres. I really wanted to like the Beyers, but they were clearly inferior to my Sennheisers.

This my first pair of on the ear headphone. My previous headphone was a pair of 25 year old Sony MDR-V6 (owned since new). The sound of DT1350 is equalized to my liking: The highs remain nutural with just enough boost of bass, yet all bass frequencies remain clearly separated and audible. The headphone adjusts well to be comfortable. The pressure of the metal head band is tight initially, but lossens after wearing. It insulates from outside noise extremely well. The minimalist design, construction and material are very good for the price I paid; however, I would expect real leather if I were to pay the regular price. The only exception is the plastic mini-plug pull.

These provide a very detailed, unobtrusive sound. Stax electrostatics give more presence and detail but less naturalness; overall I like these better. They blow away all other dynamic earphones I have tried. They are very light to wear, with a nice (not overwhelming amount of insulation from ambient noise/ List priceis forbidding. Adorama at the time had a very good price.

I wanted a high quality, portable set of headphones so I could listen to my music at work in hi fidelity. These fit the bill perfectly. Natural sounding, a little tight but still comfortable, and very sound isolating. Hearing all kinds of new things in music I've listened to hundreds of times.

listens well, even great, but I don't have much experience to compare. I am sure that they are uncomfortable after 15 minutes or so and i can't see how to make them fit more loosely. Also, I wish I had the coiled, not straight, cable.

Clear, accurate and a bottomless bass (but not bass-heavy)

These are the best headphones I've ever had so far.. I'm a musician and have been using a lot of different headphones over the years. Treble, Bass, Mids are great. Juicy sound and very comfortable to wear, plus compact - I can take them with me wherever I go. Happy with purchase and will definitely recommend it.

Beyerdynamic is know for making quality, professional gear and the DT 1350's live up to the reputation, while also delivering the convenience of a small, portable package. The response is very neutral which is great for tracking, but also wonderful for critical listening as well. Deep, punchy lows, without being over hyped. The included case is very convenient. Highly recommended!

Wonderful listening experience. Reading chair in living room with this headset is isolated from adjacent room television and similar distraction. Musical experience is wonderful and natural. Adorama, as always, delivers the best at the best prices. I have not bought photographic gear or similar from anywhere else in two years. Thousands of dollars in satisfaction during that time.

I've been taping my old headphones (Sennheiser HD280) together for years now waiting for a good price on a replacement. I would not have considered these were it not for the ($) price because I thought I needed an over the ears design to get the isolation I was looking for. Luckily, I read the reviews and took a shot. There is no difference in isolation between these and my old set and I'm hearing different frequencies coming out that make my old headphones sound kind of lifeless. I would recommend these to anyone looking for maximum enjoyment of recorded music. For sound engineers, you're gonna need something else, these add too much to the recording and would probably give you a bad mix.

I'm very impressed thus far with these headphones. I use them in an office environment, so I wanted something that was closed to seal out noise (and distraction). They provide a good seal. They fit comfortably on my ears, with some pressure. In fact, the pressure is much more comfortable on these than the Grado SR80 I had been using. I had my concerns since I wear glasses, but since they are on-ear, they are not pressing on the temples from the glasses. Sound quality is very good. At first, there seemed to be a total suck-out of the mids, with the highs over emphasized and the bass boomy. After about 5 hours, they filled out considerably. How much of this is break-in and how much was experimenting with positioning, it's hard to say. They are driven sufficiently by my iPhone, the headphone jack on my laptop, an Audioquest Dragonfly v1.5, and my Bryston integrated amp. Bass can be a little boomy at times, though my suspicion is this is related to the quality of the recording more than the headphone itself. The build quality is impressive. They arrive in a nice padded case for travel. The majority of the headphone is made from metal, not plastic. The cord is the only disappointment. It runs to the right side, is surprisingly light weight and may or may not hold up. I purchased these as a BF special, and at that price, they were an outstanding steal. At the normal retail price, they are still worth the investment as you definitely get a lot of sound and build quality for the money.

The headphones are true to their size: the sound is not big, but amazingly detailed, ideal for analytical listening and monitoring. When applied properly on the head, they provide impressive sound isolation. The flip side: tight feeling, which you can only partly tune up by bending (thankfully, all the critical parts are metal). Overall, it's a road warrior for both pleasure and professional use.

It does take some time to burn in before reaching its full potential so you have to be patient. I really enjoy the crystal and solid mid-range, which makes it a great fit for voice and acoustic music. The sound stage appears to be a little bit confined but that seems to be a common issue for closed earpads. Overall I am satisfied with the headphone.
