Good quality product
This product was actually a little bigger than I was expecting. When I opened it up, I was pleased with the quality and size. The stand that comes with it, is very sturdy and the combination works well for on the spot headshots.

The fabric on these is isn't very smooth, so you're going to need a fairly shallow depth of field for them to not look like garbage. The white is also extremely cool in color if you aren't lighting it to pure white.

Perfect for my needs.
This has worked perfectly for high and low key portraits. The quality seems great so far. I have quite a few Adorama branded items now and I like all of them.

Quick set passport photo and headshot backdrop
Being a professional photographer I was looking for a quick set passport photo and headshot backdrop for my small office and this one works perfect. Initially it was struggle to fold but after few trials I learned. Good quality and good built.

Excellent product
If they added two additional hanging tags on the sides I would give it 5 stars, but that is easily fixed with clamps. Other than that this an excellent product. I wish they offered color/textured versions

Pass this one by
I bought this background and immediately returned it. It's just not of a good enough quality for professional shoots. The size makes it difficult to keep flat and mine was impossible to get the wrinkles out of.

Belle Drape 60x78" Black/White Collapsible Background
I am in the process of photographing members of my church for our pictorial directory. I use a white 10-foot background for the majority of my pictures. However, I use my Belle Drape 60x78" black/white collapsible background as a substitute when I need to take pictures of members who are in the nursing home or are otherwise “home-bound” making it possible to keep all backgrounds the same. Head and shoulder shots of individuals are the most common shots. But there are occasional couples and couples with their pet. I have even used it for a full-length shot of the pastor (a little Photoshop helped in the feet and floor area) and it worked out very well.
Using my Belle Drape background is very convenient to use when I need to go to someone’s home. It only takes a “few minutes” to setup the background, two flashes (one with a Rogue Flash Bender/Diffuser as my main light source and the other low power flash on the background), a reflector, take the pictures, then put everything up and go home.
I have noticed that some have grumbled about the difficulty of putting the background back in the carrying case. I have to admit, there is a slight problem about knowing how to collapse the background so it will go into the carrying case. My suggestion to solving this issue is to go to the most reliable source around – YouTube. You can watch a number of videos on the procedures for folding a collapsible background. This works very well for those of us who are visual learners.
The Belle Drape 60x78" black/white collapsible background is a great product at an equally great price. I would definitely recommend this background to a friend and I would also recommend buying it from Adorama -- Great Service!!!

Heavy duty
Nicely constructed. Requires a fairly sturdy light stand. Since it's cotton, it shows moderate wrinkling when opened which can be controlled by lighting to pure white or black.

Head Shot Masterpiece
Great product for a great price. Cant believe I waited this long to use a product such as this for my head shots. Easy to fold up and take with onsite instead of backdrop stands and a muslin combo.

Be careful with the "white" side
Left mine in the garage and the white side discolored from moisture (humidity)? Luck for me, I usually use the black side.

White Belle Drape is not white
I was disappointed in the white Belle Drape. The black backside shows through the white side giving a mottled, slightly gray look. Very poor design.
It would be much better to use a light or middle gray on the reverse side, or white on both sides, or use a more opaque white material so the back side does not show through.

Easy to set up background
I used this on a shoot today. Very easy to set up: I just popped it open and clipped it to a single light stand. It doesn't stay flat though and it's not as white as it is in the product photo. I lit it with a colored gel.
It's not perfect but it's not as cumbersome as setting up two light stands, a crossbar, a muslin and then leveling that out. It meets my needs.
