Nearly identical to the MeFOTO RoadTrip Carbon Fiber Travel Tripod at nearly half the price. I?m convinced they come out of the same factory. At one point I saw a photo of a Benro tripod with MeFOTO engraved in one of the screw heads. It weighs almost nothing, supports 18lbs and is incredibly compact when fully folded. I have used these extensively for virtual shooting with remote presenters and absolutely love this tripod. I own two other Benro fluid heads for video work. They are one of the best values in film gear, rivaling the quality of the better known brands at a fraction of the price.

After reading reviews and specs for several different tripods, I decided on this one for an upcoming vacation. First, realize the purpose of this model Is travel. It's light weight and compact when folded. It fits in the side water bottle pocket on my Brevite backpack It weighs a little over 2 pounds, it?s barely noticeable on the bag. I have lenses that are heavier. The trade off is that it's not going to be quite as stable a regular tripod. It also takes a little time to set up, even with the twist lock legs, which work great. For faster set up, carry it with the center column down and without reversing the legs. Though it's about 4" longer that way, the tripod still fits neatly on the outside of my bag. Lastly, before you shoot, give it a few seconds to settle down, as there will be a little vibration for a moment after you take your hands off your camera. Use a remote release or set a short timer to avoid vibration and camera shake.

This is a great trip-pod which is light and packs easily, making it a perfect travel tripod. The adjustable legs are easy to use and the plate fits smoothly into the tripod to allow easy attachment and removal of the camera. For photographers wanting to get low to the ground, the center piece may be an obstacle, but an option to mount the camera upside down allows you to get the camera as close to the ground as you want if you are willing to hit the rotate button during post processing!!

Lightweight and easily adjustable, just strap it to your camera backpack. Gave my son. Tripster 1CF last year, and loved it so much I got the Tripster 2 for the slightly larger guage leg tubes.

I was impressed by how light weight and compact this tripod is. Quality materials and build. I have used the ballhead with a tracking mount and found it to be quite solid when holding a camera and large lens. There is some vibration when extended all the way out.

Great so far, and Ball head DOES have friction control despite what website specs say.

Despite what the specs say, the bullhead does have a friction mob, so that is a big plus. I put my Canon 5d Mark iv on it with a Tamron 150-600g2 on it. I had the tripod open EXCEPT for the thinnest section of the legs and I was surprised how stable the tripod/ball head were.. I did have to wait a second or two for the vibration to stop whenever I changed a setting on the camera but for what it is and what I had on it I was impressed with the tripod. I bought this tripod for a trip next month. I have a Benro Mach 3 but it’s just too cumbersome to carry when traveling. I will give this tripod a good thorough test but right now I feel confident it will serve its purpose.

Was looking for light compact tripod that I could easily carry when traveling. Benro fit the bill. It also converts to a mono-pod. It easily handles my Canon SLR with a heavy lens. Very stable. Very happy with this purchase.

over all very nice build, only once concern, the plate and ball head should need a release lock to protect from accidentally fall when loosening the plate.
