Under the banner of innovation and sophistication, the Behringer 2600 Blue Marvin Special Edition Semi-Modular Analog Synthesizer is a tribute to the iconic ARP 2600 synthesizer that revolutionized the music industry in the 1970s. This advanced, high-quality instrument is not just a piece of history, but a professional tool for creating unique and timeless music.
The Blue Marvin is a limited edition synthesizer, boasting a striking blue color that sets it apart from its counterparts. It features a mechanical spring reverb, hand-picked components, and uni-color LEDs on each fader, all housed in a sleek design that will enhance any musician's setup.
This semi-modular analog synthesizer is designed to recreate the pure analog signal path based on the authentic ARP 2600 circuitry from the 70s, complete with matched transistors and JFETs. Its semi-modular architecture and triple VCO design allow for a wide range of sound-shaping capabilities, from super-fat bass and tasty leads to dreamy ambience.
The Blue Marvin is equipped with 93 patchable ins and outs, offering flexibility in configuring the synthesizer to your liking. Its three VCOs with FM inputs can be patched to square, triangle, saw, sine, or pulse waveforms, providing an impressive palette of tonal possibilities. The multi-mode VCF acts as the VCO mixer, allowing for a blend of VCOs one, two, and three.
Further enhancing its capabilities, the Blue Marvin features a range of modules and effects, including a ring modulator, lag processor, sample and hold, Schmitt trigger, envelope follower, a noise generator with continuously variable color, and a mechanical spring reverb. It also includes two dedicated LFOs with pulse and sine wave outputs.
The integrated ADSR and AR envelope generators allow for dynamic progressions in your music. The VCA section offers additional tone-shaping possibilities, and the mixer section allows for blending of the VCF and VCA.
The Blue Marvin is designed with 78 faders and buttons, all intuitively laid out for ease of use. This synthesizer is not just a tool for recreating classic sounds, but a platform for unleashing your creativity and forging your own musical path.
The Behringer 2600 Blue Marvin Special Edition Semi-Modular Analog Synthesizer is a testament to the evolution of synthesizers, from the Theremin in 1919 to the ARP 2600 in the 1970s, and now, the Blue Marvin. This synthesizer is a tribute to the past, a tool for the present, and a gateway to the future of music.
