Best closed ear headphones for the money. Great for tracking vocals

The Behringer BH-770 headphones are light and very comfortable. While they may look like a re-creation of another brand's famous headphones....they do not sound the same. However, they are very clean with solid low end and perfect for tracking vocals with very minimal leakage into the mic...even at high levels. These are a great buy !

Good construction, mediocre sound quality

I have a number of Behringer products, and many are excellent. But these are disappointing. They seem to be well made and the ear cups seal well around the ear. But they simply don't sound good. They aren't accurate and they lack bass response.

Looks can be deceiving...

I'm a Behringer fan, I appreciate that they USUALLY provide a decent product at a great price. I have used their X32 mixers and own the UMC404HD audio interface. I pre-ordered these cans as soon as I saw them available. I was really hoping these headphones would be a cost effective replacement for my well worn beyerdynamic DT 770 headphones (which they look almost exactly like). Unfortunately, while these cans looked the part, the sound was lacking any bass. I'm a classically trained musician and dabble in studio recording, so I'm not looking for boosted bass - just a flat response. These have a sharp, tinny high end and almost no low end. Also, they are supposed to be closed back studio headphones, which are designed to keep the sound from leaking back into the studio microphone. These headphones leaked sound very badly. I did like the fit and finish of the headphones, and of course the design is nearly identical to my beloved DT 770's and they were quite comfortable. If the sound was even half as good as I probably would have kept them. Hopefully I got a lemon, or there is a manufacturing problem that can be resolved. Unfortunately, they had to be returned.
