This wall mount was the solution to my work from home area. Having two outlets just wasn't cutting it and I was constantly switching out my devices that were plugged in. Now I can have all of my devices charging at once! It even came with two USB ports that I wasn't expecting. Overall great product that exceeded my expectations!

Perfect for my WFH station!

I bought and installed two of the SurgePlus.  Both have green lights on-- indicating surge protection is on.  One has red light on-- the other does not-- I'm confused about which indicates grounding-- when red light is on or off?

Design flaw-- Should red light be on or off?

I bought this a few months ago for my office and it's been great. It has a wall mount feature but my only thing is the holes are just a little bit small for my liking. The functionality is great, I love that it tells me when it isn't grounded and I love that some of the outlets are spaced out in case you have bigger cable attachments and don't want them getting in the way

I have always used this for my electronics and now that I have moved I plugged it in and it will work in all the outlets except the one outlet in the living room.

Great Product and Support

Two of these units both burned up last night but protected the phones and computers plugged into them. Question is - it is impossible to find a simple way to file a warranty claim now. Had one for my AV Center go up several years ago. Painless replacement process.

Gives it's life to protect your stuff - Warranty?

Great product, if you don't use the USB plugs.  Plug anything in the USB ports and it lets out a loud high pitch whine.  Very annoying, so much so that it is useless.

Perfection!!!

This product did its job. Had a power surge and the TV and all the other things that were connected to it did not get damaged. Unfortunately the unit it self does not work now and there is no reset button on it. Since i dont have power surge protectors on all my outlets. I did lose a TV, washer,water heater and refrigerator. My question is will belkin replace my product...?????

Great Product

We have the BV106050-CW version surge protector . It stopped working today. Less than a year old but not sure of date first used. The unit was plugged into a four plug kitchen outlet with test and reset buttons. The power went out on that outlet only. After checking breakers I unplugged the belkin and reset outlet. Without the belkin plugged in the outlet worked. We finished cooking. Then I reattached the belkin. The green protected light comes on until I plug in the coffee pot or microwave .

Like the fact you don't loose outlets, you actually gain.  However I have gone through two units now because the USB ports stop working.  The third will likely not be a Belkin.  I need more than a year worth of service from such an appliance.

Short life span

I bought 3 of these from Dell, Model BSV602bgDP about 2-3 years ago.

The USB ports do not charge my cellphones. 

The phones do not pick up that the charging cable is installed. If I connected the same USB cable to a wall mount adapter plugged in to the same Belkin AC power,the charge works fine. I suspect the 5V output voltage is too low on the Belkin USB ports.

AC works fine but USB ports do not charge phones

I've had one of these for several years now and I've found it very useful. I like the way it looks. It's made of quality materials and has a solid feel. The mounting screw is good to have because it keeps the thing secure on the wall when you unplug cords - lots of other products I've seen around don't have it. It takes up 2 sockets on the wall, but it gives you 6 so no problem there. Also the 2 USB plugs on top mean you can charge phones and stuff without using a socket.

I like it

I just bought this and didn't realize it would need custom installation and electrical work and/or take up two sockets. There is a screw that goes all the way through the unit. The instructions that came with it did not correspond to the unit purchased (and are in like 5 point font).

Misleading!

With the rectangular electrical outlet/decora being more and more popular, it would have been helpful for the product description to indicate that this is only compatible with the duplex socket.  Purchased because Belkin has such a great name but because being unable to plug it in, I don't know how well it works/doesn't work.
