My initial review of this product was stellar but after less than 2 months of using it, the lighting adapter broke and recently the plug almost created a fire in our house. Look at the photo I attached. This is incredibly concerning and terrible quality from Belkin. I'm very disappointed because it's a useless charger now that went straight to the trash. It definitely did not hold up well as they advertise on the website. My previous review was 5 stars -> I've been using the Belkin 2-in-1 Cable with USB-C and Lightning Connector for a couple of days now, and it's become my go-to charging cable for both my iPhone and other USB-C devices. The dual functionality is a game-changer, especially for someone like me who frequently switches between devices throughout the day. Build Quality The cable feels sturdy and well-made.
