About Behringer DCX2496 Loudspeaker Management System With 3' 3.5mm Breakout Cable
Make your audio experience exceptional with the DCX2496 ULTRADRIVE PRO from Behringer, a high-precision digital 24-bit/96 kHz loudspeaker management system. This advanced audio equipment delivers superior sound quality and a comprehensive list of features designed for professional audio management.
Perfect for live sound environments, fixed installations, and contractor-installed applications, this system allows for the precise setup of multiple loudspeaker arrays. Each of the three inputs and six outputs come equipped with fixed processing blocks, including gain, delay, EQ, and dynamic EQ on the input channels. On the output side, you'll find gain, crossover, EQs, limiter, and delays for comprehensive sound control.
One of the inputs can accept a stereo AES/EBU digital signal, and an integrated sample rate converter ensures compatibility with various sample rates. The system also includes an internal input-sum signal for easy setup.
Choose from four different mono and stereo output operating modes, each with individual crossover filter types and selectable roll-off characteristics. The input and output delays allow for time adjusting signals to compensate for ambient temperature changes or to align arrival time differences for individual speaker clusters.
The EQs can be used for both musical enhancement and level-dependent equalization, while brick-wall limiters provide speaker protection. For remote control, you can manage one or several units using downloadable software for a Windows-based computer. Save your setups to the software or an optional PCMCIA card for ultimate portability.
The DCX2496 ULTRADRIVE PRO also features servo-balanced, gold-plated XLR connectors for all inputs and outputs, ensuring excellent connectivity. Plus, it comes with a 3' 3.5mm stereo to dual 1/4" mono (male) breakout cable for easy connection to a variety of devices.
