It's short, but that's what I needed for my new foreign car with only C inserts.

This Belkin adapter has no offensive odor and almost no odor at all. 

The adapters and cables of a well-known competitor have a terrible smell that its store tells me is normal. I returned those adapters and happily purchased this Belkin adapter.

Solid reliability

I bought this a few weeks ago and it has come in handy in so many situations.  We travel a lot this adapter completes our phone/computer/tablet charging ensemble with ease.

Not what I needed

I got this to run an Apple 'superdrive' with a Mac Air M1. The drive consumes more power than can be transmitted by a combo adapter (like the Moshi Symbus Mini 7-in-1 portable USB-C hub I have). This Belkin adapter does the job.

Great product

I have a new MacBook Air M1and this is the perfect little converter from my usb c on the MacBook to usb a. I have been able to connect my usb external hard drive with great transfer rates. The adapter has a small cord which provides some flexibility compared to an adapter that has no cord and is more for a direct plug in. It's still small enough to add to a laptop travel bag without adding much space. I definitely recommend if you're looking for an easy way to connect your older devices to a new laptop.

Easy simple USB adapter

Apple products and dongle life aside, this Belkin dongle makes things a lot easier in connecting the slew of devices that I have left over from my pre usb c life. The dongle works well - I didn't have any apple comparability issues.

Does exactly what it says

I like how compact this is which makes it super easy to store in my laptop bag and doesn't add to the mess of cords around my desk. The adapter works great and I haven't had any issues. I recommend it!

Small and easy to use

This worked perfectly and I have had no issues with it.  The speeds from it are as expected for a 3.0 USB and I would buy this again! The cord feels sturdy and I expect that it should last me a long time.

I recently purchased a MacBook Pro without realizing they no longer have standard USB ports. This adapter fits into the C port which is what is now on MacBooks and the opposite end has a standard USB port. A must have item for your office, briefcase or leave in your car. Works great!

Must Have for MacBook

This USB-C to USB-A adapter worked great to be able to access files from my USB thumb drive using my cell phone. It was easy to use and worked without any issues.  I've used Belkin products in the past so I fully expect this adapter to hold up with use. The connections on either end fit snuggly and the pins made a good connection without any delays.

Easy to use and works as expected

I a so happy that I have this item.  My new phone and computer is a C type USB and my old phone is a regular USB.I still have pictures that I want to transfer can now do it with this product. It is very easy to use.

Easy to connect my USB to USB-C

No problems with this adapter-it works exactly like one would expect. the cable isn't braided, but it's thick enough and the build quality is fine. The cable is nice and short, so it doesn't take up much room in your gear bag.

A good, small adapter

I am so happy with this product! When I purchased my new computer it did not come with USB ports so this adapter gives me an available USB port to my computer. It is well made and seems to work like a charm. Ill definitely recommend these to people in the future.

Works Great!

Belkin never disappoints. With the newer laptops these adapters are necessary. The last few I have gotten only had USB-c outlets on it.  This makes it possible to add other things with this type of port. Easy as 1-2-3. Great brand great product.

Necessary

This is a solid USB-C to USB-A adapter. I have not tested speeds but there seems to be no issue there. The cable feels well insulated, flexible, the correct length and has been working perfectly for my MacBook Pro.  The socket and plug are well constructed with a weight that makes it feel like a solid-built product.

Works as it Should

This adapter does exactly what it's supposed to do. It lets me connect some older USB type-A accessories to my laptop that has limited USB ports. I can now convert my USB type-C port to work with any accessory.  I've been using it with my external hard drive and it's working with no issues.  I personally love how snug the connections on both ends are.  It feels like a rugged and high quality cable.

High quality and does the job!

This cable is just what I needed to plug in my laptop. I have the USB-C end plugged into the USB-C port, which is designated for power, and then I use one of the many USB-A phone cords in the house to go into the outlet. That combination is much easier and lighter to travel with and keeps my laptop's one USB-A port open for other devices. I also like the reliability of Belkin as a familiar brand!

Just what I needed!

I needed an adapter to connect my numerous devices to my laptop. The Belkin USB-C/USB-A adapter works great.  Got it out the box and connected to my devices flawlessly.  I was able to transfer photos off my phone.

Great adapter

This is the perfect little adapter cable. It is exactly as described and will come in very handy at our house. The speeds are what is advertised. It is nice and compact however, I do wish the cable were a little bit longer. Overall, it is a great product and does what we need it to.

Does what it says

I take a lot of photos with my job, transferring them in a fast and convenient way with this adapter made my work so much easier! The cord is the perfect size to just throw in your pocket and have it ready whenever you need it! Highly recommend to any one that needs to transfer small or large file transfers!

The best file transfer product!

I'm always so annoyed that MacBooks these days are too thin to have USB ports, but this made it so easy. Not only was it a good price, but it also worked great. It was obviously pretty simple to use, but not only that, the quality was great. I've been using it over the official adapter because it works so much better AND is faster. Great product, highly recommend!
