wonderful asset for those who need a hand holder and a car holder simultaneously. has so many options to be used as. you can use it to support your phone on a desk by laying it down or keeping it standing, hold in your hand very comfortably while walking and doing something else and perfectly for in cup holders, very elegant asset. I love it. this is the 5th time I m buying it as I stepped on couple abs broke them and gave 2 as gifts. but unless you step on it (full force) and at the wrong spot, they re very sturdy and reliable and wont disappoint you ! thanks Belkin,as usual ,your products rock !

I have my holder over two years. It was great up until recently when the dial broke and I can no long loosen or tighten the holder.

I've had two of these units, both have broken the same way, where the paddles that hold the device in place stop working. The design is great, easy to use, sturdy. My first unit broke right away and Amazon replaced it. The second unit lasted for 3 years and broke the same way as the first.

This is a good product and I have enjoyed it (purchased about 8 months ago) but, the base (where the screw/nut attach to the inner housing that controls the bumpers) snapped this morning when I put it in my cup holder. I was surprised because before this it performed well.

This unit is a breeze to install and use in a varity of vehicles. I am able to move it to a 2019 Subaru Accent, 2017 Subaru Outback and a 2018 Ford Explore. Adjust for all of them. I am using this with an iPhone 10XR with a slim case. Will not fit if you have a very heavy duty case like Otter Defender. There are no hight adjustments, this is the only draw back, Well built and very sturdy.

I bought this for my wife who drives with her phone plugged in and upside down in a cup holder. I read reviews of other similar accessories that were less than favorable and chose this Belkin device when I found it can hold an Android in a protective case. The device is heavy for its size giving the impression that it is well made. The phone is very well supported and the device sits securely in a cup holder.

I absolutely love this phone holder. I have had two of them. The first one broke after about 8 months. The second one lasted 3 months. Such a disappointment. I would love to have another one but can't throw my money away on another one. Sad...

I finally have a place to mount my phone in my car. I've tried many other mounts BUT this one is the best I've found. My only suggestion would be to make one of these with a wireless charger built in..

This was the ideal solution for my wife and I after purchasing it in June 2018, however by November 2018 it was useless. The piece that tightens the mount in the cup holder had separated from the base and could no longer keep the base firmly mounted.

I have these in several of my cars and have given them as gifts. I have seen the complaints of others but, honestly, I have not seen a chronic problem. I had one break after about 4 years and bought a replacement. My use case is such that I install it, set it and forget it. Maybe folks have more problems when they remove them and replace them more frequently. I did have a little challenge with the install in one car where the two console cupholders have a thin removable wall between them. I just needed to carefully place the mount such that the 3 legs are pushing against the solid and not movable walls.

I ordered this product from amazon and after 2 month I get to my car to find that the product is siting in my cup holder but broken. I don't understand how a product made by Belkin can last for 2 month and breaks. I installed the product as instructed in my cup holder and it has not been moved ever since I got it, only to find out that the product is broken today. So disappointed by the quality of the product and do not recommend it to anyone. this is what happened when a company like Belkin cuts corners on quality control and makes products that break spontaneously. So disappointed.

For a while I had been looking at a way of moving my phone off the windscreen to a more practical spot. I stumbled across this purely by mistake whilst in my local Harvey Norman. Have been using for a week and love it, no more charging cables sproon across the dash board, no more blind spot where the phone used to be In the corner of the windscreen. Build quality appears to be very good... Highly recommended...

I purchased this Belkin iPhone car cup holder mount about 10 months ago. I loved this mount--it was exactly what I was looking for in an iPhone car holder, the form, the ease of use, and how it fit perfectly into the center console cup holder in my car. Unfortunately, like most other reviewers here, the mount broke (separated) one day a few weeks ago. It seems that some internal plastic piece in the base has broke, as I can't join the two halves together and get the action working properly again. I hope Belkin fixes this design flaw in the future, as I would buy a similar product again.

Bought this several months ago from a Staples store. It worked great... for a short time then the (really cheap) plastic in the core broke... and I only adjusted it once for the cup holder in my Infiniti. Would not buy again!

Poor design and materials. The holder broke after very little use. Apparently, the rigid plastic used and connections within the unit do not hold up. The unit just popped one day, while not even being used, then would no longer hold together. Very disappointing.

I bought one of these from Staples in 2017, about 6 months later I get in my car and the device has sprung, took it back and they gave me a new one. Guess what happen today I get in my car and it has sprung again. You can no longer tighten it to fit in the cup holder.

I have three of these and all failed within a year. The internals are rigid plastic and the bottom of the mount breaks such that it can't be tightened in the holder any more and just flops around. All three broke the exact same way. The internal base parts fractured.

Bought this for when I travel and use rental cars - can't use the air vent version. Keeps phone secure and doesn't require the cover to be taken off of phone. Liked it so much I ordered a second one for my wife's car... I haven't had any of the issues mentioned in other reviews yet, but then again I haven't owned this for very long...

This works great for my Audi Q7 and I phone 6s. I just upgraded to the Iphone X and hope Belkin will put the resources to create this with a wireless charging. That would really be convenient.

The overall idea is great and the mount looks elegant and neat in the car. Unfortunately like with many others here, I could not use it at all. Once I received it and tried to install it, the top and base separated and the mount could not be fixed as it was now in parts. Have sent it back and I am hoping the replacement will work.

I've had this for over two years, and it is great. No problems at all. I've recommended it to many. Stable and unobtrusive in both my A4 & GTI. No durability problems for me.
