This head holds my R5 with RF100 to 500 no questions asked. My view is this will suit most professionals and high end amateurs alike.

Best head you can buy for the money in my opinion. Holds my A7iii with a large wide-angle lens no problem.

Will be using officially for a sunrise shoot this weekend. Have been trying it out and it seems stable, holds my camera with 70-200 g master lens, which is heavy.

I had no idea how poor my present ball head was until I got this Benro. Light but strong. Very good value for money.

The head did not move like others... It wasn't an issue with a specific Benro it's an issue with the way they made it...

Great product and price. Knobs are big enough to tighten. Got tired of Manfrotto plastic. This is solid.

Wanted a ballhead to use with Platypod that was stronger than the kit head, nice ballhead. Girlfriend now wants this head for her tripod

I just switched from a Manfrotto head to the Benro IB1 Triple Action Ballhead and I am very glad I did! In fact, I should have made the switch much sooner! I couldn't be more pleased with my new Benro Ballhead and the great customer support I received from Adorama. Greg

I was looking for a ballhead that I could use on my Feisol tripod, be able to fold the legs back and store it in the carrying bag that the tripod came with... worked perfectly. Using with my Sony A7RIII. Seems to hold my 16-35 and 24-105 Sony lenses with no drifting.

This is a newer tripod head line up from benro. The design looks a lot nicer compared to the older one and the adjustment dials feels great to my fingers. However this can only take about 18lbs of weight. The older B1 can take 30lbs of weight and they're sharing the same price. I would get the older B1 but I like the newer design more.

Just what I was looking for as I changed everything from Manfrotto PL2 to Arca- Swiss standardizing all mounts to one. What I particularly like about this one is the two part release - Unscrews part way enabling sliding between the stops only, and to totally remove , pull out on the and continue opening. Re-attaching doesn't requite the two step process, just tighten down. Other Arca Swiss platforms don't have that feature which is unfortunate. Build quality is very good. While the ball head is relatively inexpensive compared to others, it's performance belies how inexpensive it is.

The stability and adjustable smoothness and traction of this product is great. Extremely well made and durable. Holds my 5D Mark III with a sizable zoom lens with no problems.

I love this ballhead! On a recent trip it held my Sony a6000 with a 55-210mm lens with a 1.4x teleconverter (which is quite heavy) with no problem. I really like the panning ability. It helped keep the camera steady on my tripod while tracking wildlife.

Adjustability and ease of use make this a must for your shooting. The weight rating for the size of this head is not something that you can look past. At this price, you cannot find a better head, most of the more expensive heads (2,3 or 4 times as much) will not hold the same working load.

This was the second Benro ball head that I purchased. I've had a smaller, single-action model for a while and I really liked it. I decided to move the smaller model from my main tripod to my travel tripod so I could use an L-plate on my camera for both tripods as the prior ball head on the travel tripod did not accept an Arca-Swiss type plate. Anyway, the newer ball head is great and I think I'll like it even more than my smaller model. I will use all three knobs on this ball head. The bottom knob controls panning and I can get perfect panorama shots for stitching using this control. The medium knob controls the friction of the ball head and this is a nice feature, especially when I have a heavy lens and I want to prevent the ball from being too loose while adjusting position. And of course the big knob is for locking the ball head in the desired position. Others have said that the friction control is somewhat redundant with the locking knob, but it's actually better too have separate controls so the ball is not too loose when you are adjusting the position. This model is a good fit for a full-size, medium weight tripod. I've used fairly heavy equipment (full frame camera with a 24-70 f2.8 lens) with this ball head and it showed no signs of slipping or being inadequate for the weight. I don't think I'll have any problems even with my heaviest equipment.

The head handles my DSLR and 100-400mm lens with ease and safety. Easily adjusts to any position. Very high quality for the price.
