USB 2.0 is about 40 times faster than USB 1.1. I like Belkin products but 2.0 is the current standard

This device is listed as a USB 2.0 hub. Although it is possible to plug USB 2.0 devices into it, it is limited to USB 1.1 speeds (about 40 times slower). If your computer supports USB 2.0 (most made within the last 4 yrs. do), you don't want to choose this hub. It's top speed is 12Mbits/sec, whereas USB 2.0 can go 480 Mbits/sec. I have this hub and it's great for my 2001 system running Windows ME, but I wouldn't think of putting it on a modern computer. It is obsolete

Add four USB devices to a single USB port; also additional hubs can be stacked for endless daisy-chaining expansion. Easily connects into your PC's USB port.
Small enough to fit almost anywhere. Plug-and-play makes install- ation a pleasure. Expand your single USB port to 4 ports.
Stackable. Fast 12Mbps data rate. Five lights indicate power and port status. Fully compatible with Windows Me/95 OSR2/98/2000 and Mac OS 8.1 or higher.
