This ultra-flexible, low-noise microphone splitter is equipped with 8 inputs and 16 outputs, making it an essential device for musicians, audio engineers, and broadcasters who need to distribute signals to multiple locations.
The MS8000 is built with 8 XLR input sockets on the front panel, designed for your microphones and DI boxes. Each channel is equipped with an XLR Direct Out connector, which provides a post-transformer copy of the input signal, and a second XLR Link Out connector that sends a pre-transformer copy of the input signal. This dual-output configuration allows you to send your Direct Out signals to the Front of House (FOH) or recording console, and the Link signals to your monitor board or headphones mixer.
One of the standout features of the MS8000 is its innovative Input Link functionality. By pressing the Link switch, you can connect two adjacent channels, effectively doubling the output possibilities of the common input signal. This feature allows you to send signals from the Channel 1 Outputs to the FOH and monitor systems, and the same signals via the Channel 2 Outputs to your recording interface and broadcast mixer simultaneously.
The MS8000 also caters to your phantom power needs, making it a versatile choice for productions that use condenser microphones or active DI boxes. All of the MS8000's channel Link Out XLR connectors allow your mixer or mic preamp to pass available phantom power to the XLR In connectors, ensuring optimal performance of your devices.
In addition, the MS8000 features a LIFT/GND switch to eliminate hum or other noise from ground loops, and flexible input link switches for added versatility. Whether you're using it to feed your monitor system, FOH, recording console, or broadcast and recording interface, the MS8000 8-Channel Microphone Splitter is a reliable, durable, and versatile solution for all your audio connectivity needs.
