This is a great gimbal.  Does everything that a more expensive one can plus it has super software for panorama and time-delay shots.   But this is not the gimbal if you have a heavy camera or are going to use long, heavy telephoto lens.   The motors are not powerful enough.  That's the only negative with this gimbal. I have a Sony a6000 and it works flawlessly with no vibration but I also only use the stock lens it comes with  so my rig is light.   Most of the negative reviews on this are about the vibration and uneven stabilization.  But from the ones that mentioned the model of their camera,  they were all on the hefty side.

So,  if you have a light weight camera or you want to get a less expensive gimbal to start with,  I would recommend the RedDog.

Fantastic gimbal for light weight cameras.

I received this gimbal for Christmas after I had been eying it at a local camera store to use with my Sony A7II and I have to say I'm impressed. I've never used one before so I didn't know exactly how to use it. It took me quite some time to get it balanced but I finally figured it out. After the initial time to get it set up and balanced, it takes me less than 5 minutes to set it up now. I love how it has a tripod as well as it is easy to do home vlogs for my channel. I do recommend this one as it's easy to use, although it can be a little heavy. But it never shows in my videos my tremors that my hand will get which I'm very happy about that.

Easy to Use & Perfect for Vlogging

Unit came in a nice hard sided case well padded and the device is very professional looking. Tolerances seem to be excellent. It took about a half an hour to balance it but after that it works very nicely.   Some issues when the phone app is paired, there is an interruption in the ability to control left right movement with the joystick. Suspect this is a problem with the app. Can’t imagine the app will be very useful anyway.   I’ll follow  for updates.   Used it on a Fuji X100F and seems to work very nicely.
