The Behringer SF300 is a fantastic sounding emulation of the Boss FZ-2. I wanted to get the Boss pedal for a while after finding out Orgy used the FZ-2. I use mostly synths and I make mostly techno & electronic music but I've always liked the sound of industrial metal synths & guitars. Before I could buy an FZ-2, I heard about the Behringer clone and with its price point it was a no-brainer to try it out. I've absolutely fallen in love. I really enjoy putting my guitar through this but I REALLY love putting my synths through this. I've had a lot of fun running a Korg Monotribe, which is a completely analog groovebox, through this. It sounds great. I like the two fuzz modes. They each have a different character. The bass & treble knobs are wonderful for shaping tone and the gain delivers increasing levels of character. I haven't used the boost at all because I'm interested in fuzzing not boosting my signal. It's powered via 9-volt battery or standard 9-volt pedal power supply. Anyway beyond the value, which is truly fantastic, this is actually a great pedal and I hope to never part with mine.

I have a Behringer TS and wasn't super impressed, but this Fuzz was kind of it's own thing and I wanted to try it anyway. It is a great gnarly fuzz pedal. I Like all 3 standard functions plus the secret function between the fuzzes. Only problem is that the boost mode is way louder than the fuzz modes.

great pedal, feels sturdier than what people may think despite the plastic housing; shakes the roof off the place when the pots are set to 11

Amazing pedal for a low price. The different modes make it very versatile: fuzz 1 being dark and muddy sounding, and fuzz 2 cuts through by punching up treble. Works great when played with my Squier Mustang, and with my friend?s semi hollow epiphone casino. Absolutely worth the purchase.

This unit is flexible, with three distinct core sounds. I wish it could cycle through those sounds with an integrated separate foot switch

This pedal in particular is actually a real gem. It?s a clone of a really famous and highly sought after, but now discontinued octave fuzz pedal from the 90?s. The sound is dead on, it?s amazing really. I wouldn?t recommend it for live gigs because of the plastic enclosure, but it?s perfect for bedroom/studio use. This is one of, if not the best pedal from this line.

Works as advertised - but read the instructions! If you leave the guitar in cable plugged in, it is on. Easy to drain the battery very quickly. I upgraded to an external 9v power supply.

Great clone. Sounds too notch but beware, it’s plastic and feels flimsy as heck

This orange little guy crushes! it's basically a clone of the Boss hyper fuzz....has a few different modes, nice full to shrill & shrieky....solid addition to any pedal board for the price. Even though it's in a plastic enclosure it seems well built...definitely worth it!

Fantastic sounding fuzz clone at great price. Three modes that each have their own flavor (one a booster) but like others have stated fuzz 2 is thick and loud. I had the volume at 9 o clock and windows were rattling. The only reason I’m giving four stars is the plastic enclosure seems flimsy and remains to be seen how it will hold up but fir the price it’s a no brained. Get one now

Excellent octave fuzz tones. Sounds just like my old Boss Hyperfuzz. Plastic enclosure, but seems sturdy enough.

Inexpensive pedal but one of the best fuzz effects that you can buy.

This is a great sounding, versatile fuzz. It’s essentially a Boss FZ-2 (which was essentially a Univox Super Fuzz). The housing is plastic, so you would need to be careful if you were to travel with it. For me—a person whose equipment doesn’t leave the house—it’s perfect. I think Adorama was the last place on the planet to have it in stock when I got mine.

This is one monster of a guitar pedal. A clone of the Boss Hyper-Fuzz FZ-2, it packs unbelievable sonic richness, saturation and gain, even at low levels. It also acts as a boost with active treble and bass controls. Highly recommended!
