Ethernet ports are wired for 10Base-T, which makes them utterly useless for modern networking equipment. Attached equipment warranty is void if you don't have everything connected through the surge protector, rendering the entire thing worthless.

Two very annoying design flaws: 1) The unit appears designed to be mounted vertically, with the supply power cord and on/off switch at the top and the coax jacks at the bottom. However, if you orient it this way, the keyhole slots on the back for mounting are upside down, meaning that the larger, opening part of those slots are at the top. 2) The labels for the which are the inputs vs. outputs for the phone and coax jacks are totally covered up by the plastic cable bundling arms at the (supposedly) bottom of the unit. You have to bend them up - to almost the point of breaking - to be able to read which are inputs vs. outputs. I can't yet comment on how well the unit protects against surges - and hope I never have to.

The Belkin Pivot-Plug Surge Protector helps a lot when using it for various computer equipment. The pivot plugs help utilize more outlets when using odd sized and shaped plugs. This also has a higher joules rating than competitor products providing more protection.

Sometimes I need a flat plug, and sometimes I need a flat plug in a specific direction, but I never need a plug that sticks straight out from the wall. For a few things I need stronger protection, higher power capacity, more outlets, or some other specific feature, but for almost everything I use one of these

It is not huge and bulky like a lot of other power strips. Thee are plenty of outlets that hold your plugs pretty firmly.

Apparently, there's no reset on this surge protector, from my experience. When it trips, you can't just reset a breaker, you have to RMA it. Works great otherwise.

I use the 12 outlet Belkin surge protector in my home office and I haven't had any issues. I run multiple things at once (computer, toaster oven, printers, hone and iPad) without interrupting my electricity. I really like the additional usb ports, they are extremely convenient and fast.

I love in an older house that doesn't have very many outlets. This surge protector is perfect for our tv/sound system. It has so many outlets. Not to mention the usb and type c ports add that much more to it.

Not only is it a surge protector which is great to have any electronics go through, especially if you life in an area prone to storming, this has USB ports as well. I can't tell you how many items I've bought recently that only come with the USB plug and do not have a wall block. Will definitely be purchasing more of these to replace the ones around the house.

This Belkin Outlet strip is very handy to have. It works well for our living room where we have the TV mounted above the fireplace next to our family computer desk setup. We plug in the strip to the wall outlet and rest the strip on the mantle. The cord is roughly 70+ inches long. There are 12 3-prong outlets. 3 on the right, 3 on the left, 6 down the middle. There are 2 regular USB ports (USB-a) and one USB-c port at the far end of the strip. The wall plug is tilted at an angle. It's nice that outlet strips are getting updated with USB plugs! Having this sit between the TV and computer we can charge phones, cameras and other USB chargeable items while having our TV, sound bar etc plugged in. It's nice being able to charge the kids tablets 'up high' where they can't reach.
