Great audio interface. Superior performance to the cheaper model (UMC201) and only a few dollars more.

This audio interface works perfect, particularly with a JamKazam. I like actual analog knobs for control, not software images! Excellent low noise preamps.

Opening the box to find such a straight forward easy to use product was a huge relief. I am a singer and writer...not a sound engineer, so being able open the box, download the driver's and plugins and get to work, it made my 2020 a bit better. Another added treat was the Adorama YouTune channel where I can get indepth information about advanced questions I might have 24/7/365. Thank y'all! I might have to write a song about my experience! ??

I've been using my UMC202HD since the beginning of the year, so roughly 7 months going on 8. Overall, it's a great starter audio interface. There's only one thing that annoyed me and was never mentioned in the description or details. So first off... It does have 2 Inputs, but they run as 1 Stereo Channel, or rather 2 Mono channels. Channel 1 is the left input, Channel 2 is the right input. Some people have recommended using the 2.8.40 drivers to override this, and have the interface treat both inputs as separate stereo channels. However, I couldn't get this to install or work for me on Win7, so I just used the defaulted/most recent drivers from the Behringer site. My work around for this was to use a Y splitter ( 1 Female to 2 Males) to split the Microphone feed. It works, and corrects the "problem". If you're using professional recording software, it'll correct the mono on its own or manually set the settings yourself. Apps that use VOIP (such as Steam chat, Discord, Skype, etc) will also correct the Mono to make audio play in both left/right channels, but you lose quality and may even get clipping (static feed) when shouting or raising your voice too loud. My wonky "solution" resolved this problem. See Above. If you're using something like Audacity, you'll have to either use my method above, or use the 2.8.40 drivers to avoid having to use Mono. I wish the 2 Mono input was mentioned in the item description or ANYWHERE on the store item page. (I only found out by Googling and finding the answer on a forum.) Still, aside from that, it's pretty good. It does what it was built for, and the quality is fine for my needs. I've read a few reports that some people would get white noise from theirs, but I didn't run into that problem with mine.

Overall the sound quality I get out of the USB interface is quite fantastic. Only concern I've had is the possibility of the audio cutting out, which has been a problem with ASIO (though maybe I'm messing something up), and once while using OBS it cut out without me noticing it.The vast majority of the time it works very well, but there's always some concern that it could drop out at some point.I'm using a dynamic XLR mic and a 3.5mm headset mic with the Rode VXLR+ adapter and both sound quite good.A common complaint is that the direct monitoring will put channel 1 on the left and channel 2 on the right so there isn't mono direct monitoring, but perhaps a y cable of some sort would allow two separate mono direct monitoring of each channels.

this interface runs my audio Technica at2035 really well, but it sporadically cuts out the audio that my headphones receive through the headphone jack.

I purchased this DAC to drive a new pair of Sennheiser's I had recently acquired. While not an audiophile, the sound difference was immediately noticeable. I'm interested in purchasing a dynamic mic as well, so this fit my current needs - otherwise, it is well-built and excellent for its price range.

Great beginner-intermediate audio interface! I'm a gamer/stream occasionally and I wanted to make the upgrade to a dynamic microphone (Samson Q2U). This was perfect for me, because I also needed an interface that allowed me to plug in my speakers and a headset and monitor the volumes for all inputs and outputs.A word of advice to other users though : if you're on Windows 10, you may be better off using the 2.23 Windows drivers (on Behringer's site). There are 4.38 drivers specifically for Windows 10, but I had a strange issue with my UMC202HD losing sound out of nowhere. I couldn't seem to find the cause. I tried uninstalling all my sound drivers completely, then reinstalling them, but it would still randomly cut. Others seem to have had this problem too. To fix it, you'd have to disable your speaker device under your sound settings, then re-enable them and it would come back. Since I made the swap to the 2.23 drivers I haven't had my sound cut. Best of luck!

Package came quickly and just as expected.Matched the photos online. I tested it and there were no issues at all!I bought this on sale and it's great value for such a small package. If you're in the market for a USB interface, there are only so many to choose from and Behringer never fails to disappoint. One thing to think about when you're picking one: How many inputs/outputs and what type of inputs/outputs do you need.

I wanted an interface that would combine a guitar and a microphone into a PC audio input. After researching the options, the 202HD looked like a winner. It offers hi-res (192 bit) encoding, low-latency, relatively easy set-up and best-of-class pricing. Installing the Windows drivers was a little more complicated than some software - but much better than competitors, according to the reviews that I've seen. After installation, it works well. Good sound quality & good control. For the cost of a meal at a medium-quality restaurant, this device is a fantastic deal.

For someone who is either starting out their hobby/career involving audio recording, this is an amazing product. It is very compact and built out of complete metal, so travel is possible, space is conserved, and damage is minimal. The sound quality is exceptional; it allows 24-bit, 192 kHz recording in 2-channel mode (1-channel mode if you download the driver from the Behringer website). Overall, I am definitely pleased with the experience that I went ahead a bought a second interface for a friend of mine. Greatly recommend, and, if I must, will buy again!
