Very pleased with the Behringer unit. It performs as designed, and provides quality audio for the price. This kit with the included audio cables made an excellent value even better. I'm using this for the in-house live streaming studio. I was delighted by the four XLR inputs but am disappointed that it requires me to pick either Channels 1-2 or 3-4 when selecting an input for Zoom Webinars or when streaming to YouTube and Facebook. Still searching for a workaround there for situations where I'll have more than two people. That aside, I have not found anything that matches the quality for this price.

It worked flawlessly out of the box. I was grateful for the cables that came with the kit too. Worth every penny and definitely worth buying from Adorama considering the cables that came with it.

This is a very effective audio solution for small studios or home studio use. The set up process is easy (Windows or Mac), and the sound quality is very high. The knobs have a good feel, and all the necessary indicator lights are there. Great product. Excellent price!

This thing is amazing. Took me a bit to get it working, but that's all user error, not the actual device. I use this paired with my PC workstation and 2 Adam Audio T7Vs. Editing, mixing, and mastering audio has never been so fun and rewarding. Here's a tip, if you purchase this for your PC, download and install the drivers for the UMC404HD before installing. After, download ASIO4all. DaVinci Resolve will pick up on the UMC404HD no problem and it's quick to setup for audio playback. But for Premiere (or Adobe in general), go to preferences, Audio Hardware, and change MME to ASIO, then ASIO hardware. After that, you'll get playback in Premiere. Other than that, it's fantastic and simple to work with and understand. I highly recommend.

The UMC404HD is a nice solid piece of equipment that is laid out very well. It was easy to setup and connect to my HP laptop and it worked flawlessly from the get-go. It was very nice, not to have the latency problem that I had before using the UMC404HD. And from the looks of the it, it should last a very long time.

I have the Behringer UMC1820 and Behringer ADA8200 Microphone Preamp in my studio that replaced an old M Audio Delta 1010 that I had used for years. These are very clean sounding, work great with several DAW's. I wanted a smaller portable interface that I could take with me and connect to a laptop for using software amp/effects modelling and recording wherever the mood strikes. The UMC404HD fit that bill perfectly. More than enough in and outs for impromptu jams and small enough to fit in the laptop case. I have not used any of the software that Behringer offers for download when you purchase their interfaces, but if you need a very functional DAW, download Reaper.FM and get right to recording!

This is like the old Volkswagon Kombi....hippie bus....performs it's intended function very well, meeting expectations. For the casual user, it's flexible, quiet and possessed of enough gain to be truly usefull. Don't expect miracles.

I've been using DigiDesign pre-amps/audio interfaces for years. I chose to switch to a different DAW and purchased this interface to test with. I must say I am thoroughly impressed with the quality of this device with it's MIdas Pre-amps, 4in/out, Zero Latency. A magnificent product for an amazingly low price. It fits nicely in my laptop bag making it simple to take on remote sessions. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for beginners and professionals.

So far it's been excellent. It has it's own drivers, everything was built very high quality as it appears. There are a few downsides at the price point. I'm not sure why exactly but some guitars clip extremely easily, and there's no way to really turn down that clipping unless you lower the volume on the actual guitar, which as most know affects even the tone of the guitar. It's only very slight though, and that's the worst quality I've seen thus far. With that in mind, if anyone is wanting to either start recording or learn on a budget, this is the perfect item.

This is a great device. Quite pleased with it. Feels solid, looks and sounds good, and was automatically recognized by the computer/audio software. Mine did appear to have a minor cosmetic defect on the face; but nothing worth complaining to anyone about (more than I just did here...). Would easily purchase again, and am comfortable recommending this unit to anyone else. Accepts my XLR and TRS mics just fine, sound is good, amplification is at very least suitable. Have not tried the MIDI, but I have no reason to believe it would not work well also. Appreciates the power cord, but if not using phantom, works just as well powered thru USB only.

Had to install the drivers and power cycle a couple of times but now it's done and no issues. Great sound quality and almost no white noise with both condenser (ksm27) and dynamic mic (sm58), even though they were in close proximity to my workstation. Well worth 70 dollars.

I am very impressed with this Behringer U-PHORIA UMC404HD Audiophile 4x4, 24-Bit/192 kHz USB Audio/MIDI Interface. I purchased it to set up a small studio with my Turntable and Laptop to transfer old LPs to digital music files. It worked awesome for that application and I also used it to set up a mobile podcast station at a out of town event. I had no issues with the unit working with my PreSonus software and drivers installed perfectly with my Windows 10 64bit OS.
