I like this a lot...but with one exception.  It has a bit of a weird design with the locking ring (red) and then screwing into the monopod.  It just loosens non-stop.  After a bit of googling, it is recommended to lockght the feet onto the monopod.  I don't really want to do that.  Will try some teflon plumbers tape or a locknut as suggested by others.  If it stays screwed into the monopod, it is great, but it just doesn't for me.

Not quite perfect...

I needed a solid base for the "invisible selfie stick" / monopod that comes with the Insta360 One X when doing my 3D virtual tours.  The base that came with it was a joke, and it was only a matter of time until the camera blew over and broke.  This item is perfect. Just enough heft to keep it stable, and not so heavy that it's going weigh down my backpack or cause fatigue on my shoots.  It also swivels on a ball just a tad so that I can adjust for slight hills.  Note: the base is 3/8-16, and the selfie stick is 1/4-20, so I also ordered an adapter (item no.CMVC0910).  Solid construction.  Very happy with it.
