I watched tutorials and this midi is great for editing in my old lightroom 6 program. Build seems very plasticky, but overall solid 8/10

Of course I'm using this to edit in lightroom cc. A more streamlined workflow, tactile engagement and the ability to set the buttons and encoders based on how I personally use LrCC. For 1/4 the price of specialized controllers like those that rhyme with poopheck, this is a no brainer for creators using editing software like Adobe. I love how the mini has a tiny footprint on my desk and still packs so such power and many options so that I rarely use the keyboard and mouse. Using MIDI2LR to assign values was simple enough and I've not touched the mouse and keyboard to edit since setting up my profiles. I will most likely add another Mini to double my physical encoders or since the x touch system is to my liking I may even upgrade to the Xtouch compact for the motorized faders, if I can find the desk space.

For Lightroom CC on an iMac, I was able to program and use the basic editing commands but I was unable to use some keys for a specific function. Works great for the standard functions! Love it and use it every time when processing a sizable download from my card. Would recommend it to any aspiring photographer to expedite workflow!!RH Kretzschmar

I bought this so that I could use it with Adobe Lighroom. It is easy to program the buttons and I couldn't think of editing my photos without it. It is well made and the price is even better.

This unit offers a small size, the flexibility of many layers and inputs. If you have tired of mice and sliders, then consider this. I am now using LR more because of the control offered by the Xtouch mini.

Excellent as a lightroom controller! I customize it using Midi2LR and assigned all the functions i use and then some to the 2 layers of all controls e.g. Knob 1 controls exposure in layer 1 and Clarity in layer 2. The concept of layers sounds complicated but really its like SHIFT or CTRL key on your keyboard. When you use the controls with layer A button selected, they perform primary functions and when you click layer B button, its like you are now holding SHIFT or CTRL key and all the controls on the dock will activate secondary functions. Of course there are no predefined "functions" per say but you define them using the Midi2LR plugin yourself. I did discovered that the plugin is a performance hog and it brought lightroom to its knees when running! I sadly had to disable the plugin and hence no longer using the deck. Need to research if there is a setting to change the polling time for the plugin or maybe try another plugin. Appreciate if you have any feedback in this regard and could leave in a comment/reply. This product itself is top-notch.

I just received this today for use with LightRoom (notice a pattern here?). I was going to use the Midi2LR plugin, but in the end opted for LRControl. I know it is only day one, but, this is a fantastic combination. I can already tell it is going to make editing images a much easier task. In short, I am loving it! It feel really well made, feels excellent. Regardless of your choce of LightRoom plugin, I would recommend this.

Amusing that to date, all the reviewers are using this for Adobe Lightroom! I think this would be a lovely MIDI controller, but I'm also using it to control the sliders in Lightroom. It's fantastic for that. Solid construction. It's just heavy enough that it stays put while you're using it, without feeling bulky. Light and small enough to set in your lap like a keyboard. The editor software from Behringer lets you change the type of LED display for each knob, as well as tweaking the note/CC signals each button/knob sends. For my use (with Lightroom) changing the LED display for the knobs is the only function I've found is useful--the "TRIM" setting is useful for values with a center of 0 and positive/negative to either side (Exposure, etc.) as the LED indicator starts at 12:00 and fills in to the left or right as you twist the knob. There are a couple of great, printable overlay templates available on the MIDI2LR Google group forum.

I bought this midi with the intent to use it conjunction with lightroom. I was using the Logitech g13 before and was stuck using lightroom 5 since it had no support for the newer software. Using lightroom 6.8 currently and paired with the behringer, my lightroom workflow has never been faster. Very impressed.
