I have Parkinson's Disease and am hard of hearing. Even with hearing aids I could not hear or understand what people were saying over the phone. I bought 2 headsets from other manufacturers. Not only could I not hear what the person was saying, they could not hear me! My husband always took matters into his own hands and bought me Bose Quiet Comfort headphones. The headphones have a built in mike.. I was never so pleased with a purchase! They work beautifully!. The sound is incredible! Even just conversations sound incredible!

Very good sound quality especially the bass reproduction. Extremely comfortable and lightweight. The only downside, and I'm being super critical here: a slight background hiss and active noise cancelling is not as quiet as I had expected

I bought this to compare against my quietcomfort ultra headphones, as these have larger audio drivers (40mm vs 35mm, I believe). The sound quality is indeed slightly inproved. I didn't much care for the QC ultra's gimmicky, power-hungry "immersive" audio feature, which was effectively a glorified reverb filter that obliterated any nuances the sound stage might possess by scooping the mids, so the QC are effectively an upgrade. This pair has physical controls instead of the QC ultra's chintzy "multifunction" button and frustratingly sensitive and inconveniently placed touch controls (I cannot tell you how many times I accidentally switched sound mode or increased/decreased the volume), which is excellent. The size adjustment band uses a ratcheting mechanism instead of the QC ultra's indeterminate sliding mechanism, which is also excellent, as with the QC ultra, I had to use an ultra-fine point sharpie pen to mark the exact size band for my head, as there are no indicator marks. Now for the downsides. The construction feels noticably cheaper, as they don't have that pleasant weightyness of the QC ultra. In addition, the hinges for the earcups don't actuate as far and aren't nearly as smooth, meaning folding the headphones is a bit of a chore and they always feel like they're being put under stress that might lead to failure. The QC has less microphones than the QC ultra, so the quality of its hearthrough function is abysmal in comparison. With the QC ultra, there is no difference in using hearthrough and removing the headphones, it's that good. With the QC, I find myself having to take them off to properly hear my surroundings. It's annoying. I assume call quality will be worse due to the lesser number of microphones, but I have not yet had the opportunity to test this. Logically, due to this difference in construction, the noise cancelling is also inferior to the QC ultra, but only slightly, to my surprise. The Bluetooth codec used is older (5.1 vs 5.4), and they don't possess fast-pair, which is rather vexing. One thing that really annoyed me about both headphones is that they don't have an intermediate setting. You either have to be using hearthrough or noise cancellation. There is no "off" setting that relies solely on the headphones earcups to isolate noise. I wish there was, as it would likely improve the already impressive 25-30 hour battery life significantly. For me, both products miss the mark in various important, irritating ways. The ideal pair of quietcomfort headphones would combine the features and build qualities of both into one. A pair of headphones that has actual physical controls with dedicated, nice-feeling, smushy buttons (so you don't hear annoying/loud clicks every time you adjust the volume); the indeterminate sliding band of the QC ultra, but with periodic markings so you can accurately gauge the perfect size and remember it for later without having to deface the product; the microphones and hearthrough of the QC ultra, but with improved noise cancellation that isn't just pumping white noise into the headphones, but actually using the microphones to generate sound waves with destructive interference in real time, as the noise cancelling headphones used by the aviation industry do; the earcup hinges of the QC ultra; the weightyness of the QC ultra; the same or larger drivers as the QC; the fast-pair functionality of the QC ultra, but with more multi-point connectivity; and the ability to turn off hearthrough/noise cancelling for more battery life. That would be the ideal, perfect pair of headphones. Now, if only Bose could deliver such a product at an affordable price. I got both my headphones when they were on sale ($250 new for the QC ultra, and $199 used, like new for the QC), but the MSRP for them is ridiculous for what they offer with their flaws, especially when compared to their competition or even a good pair of earbuds. So, do I recommend them? Yes, but only because there isn't a viable alternative that doesn't come with major compromises, and only when they're on sale.

I bought the QC headset to replace my older one. The older ones battery loses its charge sooner than it used to. I had it for many years and love the quality of music and comfort from these headsets.I use the headset while operating power equipment so I can listen to music, while blocking out the harmful noises from the equipment.

I bought these while on a work trip. The old headphones I had were horrible. my husband (a Bose lover!) urged me to spend the extra money and get a decent pair of headphones from Bose. I've been using them while at the gym and I love them! Can't wait to try them out on my 5 hour flight home!

Good sound but the headphones drop signal very frequently. Intermittent sound is disappointing and shouldn't be happening with these headphones!

I spent days researching which headphones have great or at least decent noise cancelation and works with androids. I saw that a lot of headphones work better with Apple but not Androids, which was my main worry; this headphone had a lot of positive reviews from other Samsung users. But they did not meet my expectations. I downloaded the app and set everything up (modes. devices, etc.) on there, and yet even with noise cancelation on the highest level, I hear pretty much everything; the outside noise is muffled at best. And even though I don't use it for prolonged periods (no more than 2 hours at a time), it gets uncomfortable. I got these around 2 months ago and yet it keeps having these random static noises and the sound randomly stops--- I have to turn off the headphones and connect again for the sound to come back. On the positive.... - The music quality is really good. And the adjustments on the app makes it even more enjoyable. - I also only charge these like once a week but they rarely get below 70% charge. - The color is pretty and has a clean look. - No leaks---unless you have them off and the sound is on blast.

Bought 3 weeks ago for my girlfriend, unfortunately she said they fit a little too tight and bulky on her head so I will be returning them and looking for a different product. Everything else about them are great, the sound, accessibility and noise cancelling work great !

The best sound ever. Love it. It is so amazing. It's highly recommended for professional musicians.
