Very sturdy and well made, works great with my d850 + heavy lenses. Planning to mainly keep it indoors but colleagues have borrowed it for use in the field with no issues

This is an amazing tripod! It is so versatile as it can go very low to the ground or very high. It is very sturdy and lightweight as well. LOVE it.

So far I’ve only used the tripod a couple of times, but it is everything I expected. I have a Fuji 100-400mm zoom lens and mounted it immediately, as it was imperative that the Manfroto MT190CXPRO4 hold it. It did so with no shake. The camera (that has a battery grip) and the lens were as steady as could be. The weight of the lens and battery grip were no problem. I’ll have to take it to the field with the zoom lens, but I’m sure it will be as steady there as in my backyard.

Before purchasing this Manfrotto 190 tripod I had a cheap tripod and it often fell to the ground when there was windy or someone accidentally touch it. I finally decided to get the Manfrotto 190 tripod and iI am glad I bought it. This tripod is sure met my expectation of sturdy, easy to use.

Sturdy and easy to operate. Not recommended for long hikes. It's a bit heavy and needs to come with a carry bag. We improvised and used the sack from our camp chairs so it was perfect for what we needed.

I love the way this tripod works with my Demon DB-46 ball head. As described in the other reviews, the tripod is light flexible, but very sturdy. I bought this tripod used. Adorama gave it an E+ rating which means there were minor signs of use. I went over the tripod with a fine-toothed comb, and found no signs of wear. You can buy used equipment from Adorama with confidence.

Nice solid base for my 4-6lbs of camera+lens. Good locking mechanisms on legs. Head locks securely too. No protruding handles. A little heavy for backpacking but I'm going to take it anyway

I use this tripod in shooting competitions to score on the line and to use my spotting scope from the prone position on the line. It's extremely flexible and light and it's rigid enough that I have semi-retired my big Manfrotto tripod even for photo use. I use my MT190CX for virtually all my tripod needs.

I recently purchased the Manfrotto 190 (thank you Santa) and have found it to be everything that I was looking for in a sturdy, easy to use, and reliable tripod. I finally got off the "cheap and available" (read that "unreliable) class of tripods and am very happy with the purchase. As a hobbyist seeking to move forward in my skills I would highly recommend this to someone also seeking a tripod that will hold up the weight of a larger DSLR and the accompanying larger lens.

Haven't had a chance to use the tripod in the field, but with 'in home' testing is has all the characteristics of a very good tripod. It's very stable, has excellent height, and its legs are quickly adjusted. Ballhead is also easy to adjust and holds my Canon 6D with no problems. I did purchase a Haoge Quick Release QR Clamp Adapter Convertor for Manfrotto RC2 System to Arca-Swiss Compatible to hold the L bracket on the Canon.

I did a LOT of research before deciding on a tripod. While I knew this particular model was about 1 pound heavier than the carbon fiber one, I still decided to go with this one. My previous tripod was not as steady in windy conditions so this Manfrotto fit the bill. I was also fortunate enough to purchase it when Manfrotto was offering a rebate. LOVE IT and am so very glad I chose this particular model...

Besides being on sale and a well respected brand this kit is adapted to many positions and is steady and strong, but it is not as light as some carbon fiber models and also too large to easily carry on a backpack or airplane carry on bag.

When I received the tripod I was surprised to find it actually heavier than my older, not very expensive tripod. Nevertheless, I did know the weight so it's my mistake. I kept the tripod because I wanted one that is easy to use and keeps my camera steady. This tripod meets both those criteria. So far I am enjoying using it. It's easy to set up and accommodates to uneven ground.
