I use this tripod anytime i need a steady shot. The build quality is great and is a really quality product. The ability of the center shaft to be horizontal as well as vertical makes allows for almost any camera positioning required. The fact this bundle costs as much as buying the legs alone makes it a steal, basically getting the head for free! Only con is its a bit heavy if you are carrying it a lot.

This is very stable and versatile. It is slightly heavier than I would like, but its weight allows me to use it reliably even on windy days. Beautiful adjustments and it holds its adjustments. It is an amazing tripod and I am so happy I have it.

I needed a strong and stable tripod to hold my painting pochade. My old tripod held the painting equipment but it always wobbled a bit when I painted, so I would hold the pochade with one hand while I applied paint with the other. I'd read about this Manfrotto tripod and head but since it was so expensive and I wondered if I'd have to hold this too with one hand, I never bothered to buy it. Well! Adorama had a great price and a package with the right head so I went for it. Tried it out this week and it is super strong! super stable! not even the slightest wobble when I painted. It is heavy but I put it in a backpack and I was fine. Totally recommend to all Plein Air painters to use with your pochade.
