Exactly what I wanted.

It was a perfect fit for my monopod and exactly what I was looking for.

Should have bought this years ago

I work with long glass regularly, often in hazardous situations, and I depend on my monopod. I've used 681s since they bore Bogen labels. This foot makes that model a better tool all around, and it's much easier to just buy this than to try to get through to Manfotto's customer support to replace the standard rubber foot, should you lose it (as I did, out of a kayak). That manufacturer support is the main reason I don't give this five stars.

Good foot, needed to adapt it to Manfrotto 679B

The spiked foot is very good quality although it was a bit expensive. I ordered it to go on a Manfrotto 679B, which as it turns out requires a 20mm foot instead of a 25mm foot. The Manfrotto 20mm foot has apparently been discontinued and I was unable to find one, so I built up the tube diameter with a sort of rubbery friction tape, and then installed this foot. It works fine with my DIY mod. Much more versatile than the standard rubber foot on the 679B.
