Sturdy, well made. Easy to install. I?m using on an auto pole for a backdrop. Waiting on extension arms for lights. This set-up has given me four additional feet of shooting space. This would not be possible with out these super clamps.

Using it to mount the base of my Flashpoint 600 pro to a light stand with extension head. It fit the bill perfectly! Definitely will build and I expect it to last forever. Thanks Manfrotto!

These things are awesome. From holding lights, grip and just about anything else. You can also get the short stud and mount a ball head to it and have an urban tripod that can clamp to railings, doors, tables and just about anything else. Perfect for places where they don’t allow tripods.

I make YouTube videos in a blacksmith shop. Tripods are nice, but are generally in the way. Having the ability to clamp a magic arm to a bench )or bar bolted to the wall just for the purpose) clears the walking space and opens up so many new camera positions and placements. But be warned, you'll want several.

I really like these. They are perfect for safely mounting just about anything anywhere. I primarily use them to mount strobes up high and out of the reach of children. The only gripe if have is that the "saddle" doesn't have a good home when not in use so I keep losing them. Also, the handle should be one that you can pull out and adjust the position to get a better grip on it, but it doesn't do that.

Amazing clamp, this has already proved to be a life saver allowing me to clamp lights and my secondary camera wherever I please without concern.

The Manfrotto Super clamp served well during the video shoot. I would definitely recommend this item.

These are just super handy clamps, I use them to lower my lights' center of gravity by mounting them to the base of the light stand and using extension heads instead of having my entire ad600 and ad600pro's on top of the stands. It makes my lights so much more resilient to wind, even with 40" softboxes.

I would definitely recommend. Very sturdy construction and the tightening mechanism is quick and painless. Great for securing scrims and backdrops.

I use the clamp to attach a Manfrotto arm that holds an iPad to easel, it holds the arm secure at any position, it really works well.

I've used the 035RL for many years. They are a vital part of many studio and location equipment sets. The only problem I've experienced is that the v shaped and flat rubber grips come off way to easy. Often sticking to the surface of the pole the clamp was mounted to. Out of four clamps, only one set of rubber pads remain. The other three clamps are now paperweights and I can't find replacement pads. Manfrotto, please rescue me! Have a busy spring and summer ahead! Need these and don't really want to buy new ones because the rubber fell off. Oh, that sounds bad.

The Manfroto Super Clamp has withstood the test of time... not to mention all of the abuse I can throw at it. Decades before GoPro cameras, I used one of these clamps to mount a 35mm waterproof camera to the top of a windsurfing mast and built a trigger system that let me take photos from that unique vantage point while sailing on oceans, lakes and rivers. My first clamp survived exposure to all of the elements... sand, salt and water... and works as well now as it did the day I bought it. I also use a short stud to mount a ball head to the clamp... giving me a whole new range of potential shoot locations and situations.

Sturdy clamp for attaching camera or accessories to various supports. Handy little insert helps attach clamp to flat surfaces- like a table.

Tried one. Bought more. Clamps to just about anything to get flash in any position. I use these mostly in the woods and they're priceless. Overall build quality impressive. Easy to use. Kinda' heavy but worth it, IMHO. Would give it 5 stars but the storage of the clamp shim under the thumb screw could use some reworking. Falls out easily and a bit cumbersome to babysit when not in use. That's more of a suggestion than a complaint.

A very stable base for my Manfrotto Magic Arm. Used primarily for a tabletop setup for small product and food photography, this clamp is easy to use and can dependably hold lights and small modifiers with ease. A no-brainer when it comes to a reliable tabletop studio.

This is my 2nd Bogen Super Clamp and really do wished I had more. What I like most about it is being able to put a flash in places that I can't put a flash stand. It can be mounted to the leg of an existing stand to direct light or highlight parts of a subject. It easily mounts to bars or pipes to get a flash up high where there is not room for a light stand or c-stand. It's small, portable and easily transportable. What more can you ask.

I bought this product for a safari in Africa. I was planning to clamp it to the posts of the Range Rover for wildlife shots. Product was too heavy on top of the rest of my gear. So, I stuck with my tripod. Excellent product though. I just did not factor in the weight issue.

I love this clamp! It can be used for so many different situations if you use your imagination. I've used this clamp for everything from hanging my camera at the bottom of my tripod to hanging my flash on a door to mounting a small video camera on my mountain bike and blasting down the trail. It's built super tough and solid and it has a lot of gripping power. If you're in need of a good clamp that works, this one will get it done!

Easy to use and highly configerable. This is like having a third hand, and can often eliminate the need for a tripod in a pinch.

The original - still popular for reason

This is a professional piece of photography gear and very useful. While you can get a cheaper one that will still function, it's a question of hassle. The stud and triangular insert both stay in easily on this one - which I can't say for some others. Also, it doesn't smell like paint.
