Donaciano G : Does this come with a clamp to attach it to a mount? I'm thinking about attaching this to a shoulder mount.LARRY F : I am not sure what you are asking. But it comes as you see it in this photo. I use a super clamp on the other end to attach it to things.ROBERT E : What you see in the catalog picture is basically all that is included with the Magic Arm. It is available in two or three different configurations but I do not believe any of the configurations would lend itself for use with a shoulder mount. The arm uses standard lighing/equipment support connectors so it could be used with many off the shelf connectors and attachments. My personal opinion is the the Magic Arm would be very heavy and ackward for use with a shoulder mount.ROBERT K : It doesn't come with a clamp, just a spot to screw it in. A real game changer

I make YouTube videos in a blacksmith shop. Tripods are nice, but are generally in the way. Having the ability to clamp a magic arm to a bench )or bar bolted to the wall just for the purpose) clears the walking space and opens up so many new camera positions and placements. But be warned, you'll want several.

Works as expected - great accessory

We bought this so a student in a wheelchair with limited capacity in one hand could take photographs with his DSLR more easily. Add a super clamp and you have a very stable, but quickly adjustable stabilizing device that can be controlled with the turn of just one knob.

Sturdy High Quality Positioning Arm

This arm is really magical. Being able to loosen all the pivot points at once and then lock the arm into a position with a single action is awesome. The variable resistance arm is simple and easy to use. Also, pay attention to the tension of the arm segment bolts. The kit includes two allen wrenches. If the arms are too loose, disengaging the level makes the arm segments drop down quickly, potentially harming equipment. Make sure the tension is tight but still flexible. This tension setting levels varies out of the box as I've noted by testing three units.
