Answer to question

The heaviest camera I've used on this tripod is a Nikon F3-HP with a 105 micro lens. It supports it with no problem.

A real winner!

I bought the tripod for our 30th anniversary trip to Paris , London,Mont San Michel . I wanted to take brilliant photos of me and my wife in low light situations, take beautiful photos in the most beautiful places on earth. This tripod made it possible to do ALL of these things and more. It is light, short and made for travel. It is easy to sling over your shoulder, get on the train, and go to all places in Paris where one would get mind bendingly beautiful shots of the graceful lady called Eiffel, the beauty of my wife of 30 years. BEST $200 I EVER spent.
