For the price, it’s not bad, however when shooting with a D800 on a 500mm f4, the length of the brace was inadequate to reach my shoulder, so it was essentially useless. Aside from that it would help with a small lens.

This is an amazing product. I bought this product so that I could attach it to my monopod setup with Nikon D7500 and 200-500mm f/5.6 lens. It works as intended, easy to install and really improves my stability with this setup.

Initial impression favorable. Good results shooting with shutter speeds as low as 1/15 second with a Nikkor VR lens.

Yes, I would recommend this to anyone who is looking to get a little more stableness with their big lens on their monopod. The Manfrotto 361 shoulder brace for monopods worked very well and fit very well in the shoulder pit, it's adjustable to fit any arm length, made of good quality plastic. One problem is that it doesn't fit well with backpack on, it slides off straps of backpack, but other then that works great.

Product does what it's made for, very light, inexpensive, and certainly helps while using the longer telephotos or zooms. The arm is made from plastics but for what it is (just a brace) it is a good addition to the monopod. It does not get in the way but I don't use a camera strap.

This brace for a monopod is like image stabilization for lenses... really works to improve monopod stability.

It works well. I have a hand tremor and camera shake is always a problem. This device works with my D7000 VR to fully stabilize camera motion in both x and y axes. I had to use it at its shortest length to see through my viewfinder, but that's fine. It does add some adjusting to the simple monopod use, but that's worth the result. For such a small price, the device is remarkably effective in giving me sharper results at longer shutter speeds and/or smaller lens openings (larger f numbers). It folds nicely adjacent to the side of my monopod, and there it now always resides. Color me happy.

I use the product with my T2i for video mostly. It is easy to set up, well built, and works. The only downside that I have come across so far is that the stock is on a ball joint that doesn't lock down. Sometimes this can rotate while you are holding it. But for the price, it can't be beat!

Nearly as steady as a tripod when used with a monopod. Steadier than hand held for photos used alone.
