Great bag but extra long
The bag is extra long to accomodate a large swivel head. I use a small swivel head for lightweight traveling/flying, so there is extra room at the top. However, these days when flying, I sometimes must check the bag, in which case I take off the head and carry it for better protection. This leaves even more excess space in the bag.
On the plus side, there is a lot of room in the bag to place extra gear or clothing along with a tripod.
On my last trip, my bag received a small tear from the baggage handling process, so I bought a cheap $5 fabric bag to enclose and protect the more expensive Bogen bag when flying.
In summary, it is a good, well padded but overly long Bag, and it is expensive.

Good looking but.....
This bag does what it was designed for but it is a little light on the padding. Handles and strap make it easy to transport tripod yet protect it from other gear. Carry strap is a bit cheezy and it was twisted when attached. For the price, you would think they could have gotten this right.
