Level your tripod fast

While having photo tripods forever, all my heads were flat. I bought a slider that required a ball head and really did not want to spend in new heads. This little gizmo saved me.

Great help

Not sure there are alternatives to this but I wouldn't use them anyway. Compare any Manfrotto product to sachtler and you'll get twice the product. My money goes to glass! So it's nice to get this kind of quality for a reasonable price.

MANFROTTO EXCELLENT!

After you screw on your tripod head, be sure and tighten the 3 screws underneath the plate so that it will not unscrew when you are panning.
 It feels solid, well-built, nice long rubber handle. And there is no provision for a level bill into  it. Turns out my tripod head does not have a level as well, so I have to eyeball it… Which is not been a problem.

Works great with the 525 MVB

I am what you might call a reluctant photographer. I am a Graphic Designer by profession forced into photography due to the economy at our in-house corporate art department. Now we are beginning to video our photo shoots for marketing purposes. I purchased the Manfrotto 546B tripod and the Manfrotto 503HDV Pro Fluid Video Head, only to discover that we still required additional equipment in order to get everything to work as advertised. So, we then ordered the Manfrotto 520BALLSH. However, there were no instructions included with the 520BALLSH to tell us how exactly to put this all together. It has been a very frustrating experience.
