As described and expected. I got this to replace an old one I had for years that finally bit the dust. This is such a great quick release plate and I love having the levels for both vertical and horizontal positioning. As always, Manfrotto makes a great product.

I shoot primarily medium format film cameras. The lightest is a Mamiya 645 with an 80mm lens, and the heaviest is a Mamiya RZ67 with a 250mm lens. The connection is quick and solid. The release can take some extra effort, but still acceptable. The main thing for me is knowing the large plate is going to hold everything safely when I need to walk away from the camera. I also like the bubble levels. I would definitely buy this item again.

The Manfrotto RC4 Low Profile Rectangular Rapid Connect Adapter #3270 / 394 Is a strong, heavy-duty quick connect system for my tripods and the spirit levels on both the . I have two others and I am very pleased with all of them. However, the picture is not quite accurate. The picture shows the same unit as the other two that I already had, but the unit shipped does not have the same RC4 plate that my previous units have. The RC4 plate, which attaches to the camera, does not have the storage places on the plate for a 1/4” screw and a 3/8” screw, as my previous plates, and the plate came with only a 1/4” screw. But, the plate received will accept the 3/8” screw for mounting a camera utilizing the 3/8” mounting screw, just as the previous RC4 plates. Since everything I have uses 1/4”x20 screws, this plate will work perfectly, so I’m very satisfied and I recommend this system to others. But, the picture should be updated.

This release system was a perfect fit for my older metal tripod and new 7D MK II. No problems with fit or usability. Would highly recommend it.

I use this adapter and plate to attach both my Ebony SV45TE 4x5 and custom 6x18 view cameras to Ries and Berlebach wood tripods. Their thin profile and light weight make them an ideal addition to my MF & LF systems. The bubble spirit levels also aide in proper alignment. The thumb release sometimes gets stuck when trying to separate camera from tripod. Not sure why this happens?

I use this product to attach my camera to a Stroboframe flip flash which, in turn, is attached to a tripod. It speeds and simplifies attachment and provides a very stable platform.

This works as advertise and I'd recommend it to anyone who's looking for an economical solution to their quick release needs. I attach it to a shoulder mount and never worry about it holding my camera tight enough or slipping. My only con, which is more like nit-picking is the when I want to release my camera with only one hand; It sometimes feels like I'm pulling the release lever harder then needed. On the flipside this just means that its harder to accidentally move the release lever and release the camera. Just thought I should mention

I have one mounted on every camera body that i own and every tripod and monopod that I own and its just a simple click to have the camera locked to the pod safely and securely and it comes off when you want it to just as easily

We have just changed over our ENTIRE line of medium/small format cameras, tripods, and stabilizers to these units - NOW it's easy to quickly grab a camera, grab a tripod - and KNOW that you have a reliable quick-release system. Nothing I really wouldn't already expect from Bogen and Adorama! THESE THINGS ARE GREAT!

This rapid connector works great !! I use it on both video cameras as well as Still cameras. I am able to quickly change from tripod to monopod to Glide Cam in seconds. I sugest buying one for each camera you own...

Application is for rapid night time tripod mounting/dismounting of binocular assembly (Sky Window)in the field. A bit tricky getting the hang of mating the two bracket plates in the dark, but easy with a little practice. All I can say about this product is WOW! It was quite a find.

Works well and is already integrated into my systems. The latch holds strongly and won't accidentally come off, but can be a little work to engage and release. Nice large size supports all my different components.

I have several in use on different pieces of equipment that find themselves attached to my tripod when needed for stabilization or so that I can keep my eye away from the viewfinder and on the subject during image capture. I appreciate the ability to quickly change set ups as needed, and appreciate the ruggedness and peace of mind it provides in quickness of change and the solid feel of attachment.
