A Bargain!
Very stable. Good ball head. Almost unlimited adjustment capability. An excellent value for the price.

Almost Perfect!
A great 'grab & go' tripod that is stable enough for studio work. The two leg positions for extra stability in uneven terrain is a bonus. You can't do better for the money.

does the job
This tripod does what it should...it has three legs and doesn't move. I was pleased with the construction of this for the price. The ball head locks very tightly, allowing me to put my 5D mark II and Speedlite 580EX II with a 70-200mmL lens on it and leave it at an odd angle. Of course that's a lot of $$ to leave sitting on something that isn't a boulder so I always keep the strap around my neck and don't walk off. So far I have had no problems with the stability and locks on the legs. They (the leg locks) are a little hard to open and close and sometimes I get pinched fingers, but that is probably my fault for having weak fingers.
The tripod comes in a nice bag and I really like the quick-release plate that has a safety lock on it, so it isn't ever ejected by accident.

Best tripod I've ever owned
Purchased to take along on an extended trip to Armenia. Packs small and is remarkably lightweight for the stability it provides for heavy D300 camera. Quick and easy to adjust.
