A Good Idea, but doesn't work for me

Once I became comfortable with the way the camera mounts to the base (It's very secure, just very different)I realized that the problem was the way the system mounts to me! Worn on the side of your hip, it's comfortable, but the camera gets in the way of your natural arm-swing when walking. This is exacerbated if you use a battery grip, as I do. It probably wouldn't be as bad without one. If you move it more forward on your thigh, the camera is out of arm's way (:)), but now the bottom of the base digs into your thigh with each step, particularly if you use a relatively heavy system. After continuously searching for the "sweet spot" on a 3 mile walk, I gave up and have since traded it in on the B-slider Strap system, which I find to be excellent!

I was tired of hanging myself with the camera strap. This product enables me the freedom to move around and bring the camera up to shoot at seconds notice. Quick release is great to have.

A brilliant idea indeed.

Working with holsters is no longer a tedious affair. It is such a delight to use the B-grip. As an architect, photographic documentation is an essential part of my profession and it was always a concern frequenting the camera holster-shoot-holster. Great Accessory

This product is great! I've used it for shooting during my holidays and it worked very well. The camera is stable and doesn't swing around as it would with a strap. I was able to shoot, move large equipment and then shoot again just by swinging the grip/camera around out of the way.
