I am not a professional, but I got it because it was a great sale this Black Friday. I could not believe what I got. It is an unbelievable combination of Tripod legs and matching head. The legs can be extended or retracted with minimal effort- very easily and quickly (hence the name FAST). Nitrotech 608 head is amazing. The continuous counterbalance makes handling a heavy camera/lens combo very easy to control - works with minimal calibration. I know this is just the sideshow when it comes to shooting, but this has made video-recording so much easier. I have used it only once, but the video was much easier to make and much better. Highly recommend.

Honestly one of the best tripod legs/heads I’ve ever used. I never thought I could get excited over a tripod but after using it on a couple of shoots already it’s easily one of my favorite piece of equipment that I own. The fast legs make adjusting height quick and simple.

Not sure if it's really worth $1000. I feel the pan drag is not consistent. over time it self loosens. The legs are a bit over rated by youtube reviewers. Easy to adjust height but not much harder then older design. I do like the height I get out of it.

Wow, this is the real deal! I used to work in TV news, and this is the closest I've ever gotten to buying a professional ENG tripod for myself. The leg mechanisms are solid, and the head is adjustable to achieve perfect balance easily. I wouldn't change a thing!

This fluid head set up is the sh*t !! … smooth pans, smooth tilts … smooth angles … and most of all stop points are dead on. absolutely no over sway or tug back … take the time to balance it right and the results will be superb !!

Very nice fluid head. If course it is smooth if you know how to use it. I have used it with an unstabilized 400mm lens and it is smooth. Yes you have to be careful, it isn’t going to move itself for you... lol. Anything from 200mm and wider is easy work with this fluid head. Now if you do have a stabilized lens then you can get hypnotic panning smoothness. I kind of wish I had gotten the 612 but I have no need for that much load capacity right now. The price on this item is almost too low for what you get...

This 608 head is amazing. Not only is the design just sexy, it is a game changer. The adjustable CB allows you to fine tune for perfect balancing. I can balance just my GH5 with a 25mm, or a fully built out cinema rig. You can get quite a lot of drag resistance out of this head, probably twice as much as the Benro S8. The snap in QR plate is just so nice, it's the little things. Not having to lock off the tripod in between shots is the difference between having 90% of your footage being usable vs 90% being not usable. When you have a long lens it is amazing. The action is just SUPER SMOOTH, I mean SUPER SMOOTH. No delay in the drag start and stop, just perfect fluid movement. tracking birds with a long lens is no problem. If you can't get good movement out of this head then it's you. Every bit of this head was thought out from the over size tilt lock tot he way you slide the QR plate. Just amazing, this is one of the nicest pieces of pro equipment I have used yet.
