Great Tripod
This is really a video tripod, but I bought it for still photography mainly because I wanted to try out a fluid head and I needed a sturdier tripod than the light weight aluminum ones I have. I am very pleased with the set up, the ease of changing and locking in camera positions. It is a little heavier than I had anticipated, but very sturdy which is what I wanted. 190x Tripod Legs
The key feature of the 190x is the ground level adaptor which allows great shooting creativity. Once placed on the top casting and combined with the 4 leg angles, it enables the tripod to reach ultra-low positions.
The legs of the 190x tripod are fast to extend and adjust, thanks to the Quick Power Lock levers that block and unblock each leg section. The special design of the QPL levers allows a more comfortable and stronger single-handed grip of the leg locks. From a folded position, the sections of each leg of the tripod can be released in a single movement. The QPL lever design also offers more powerful locking of each section, meaning the tripod is more stable and rigid than with traditional lever designs. Intuitive, ergonomic leg angle selectors allow each leg to be independently and solidly set to any of the pre-set angles, allowing even greater positioning freedom.
The top casting of the 190x has an Easy Link connector to support a photo or video accessory (such as an LED light, flash, reflector, or other piece of equipment) on an extending arm or bracket, turning the tripod into a practical mobile studio.
The 496RC2 ball head is sturdy enough to carry a 35mm camera and an SLR camera with medium size lenses. It has a load capacity of 6 kg and it comes with quick release.

496RC2 Ball Head
Manfrotto ball head family has been completely updated to be more ergonomic and easier to handle. Payloads range from 4.4 lbs (2kg) to 17.6 lbs (8kg). Features include a new friction control knob which allows micro movements without having to engage the head locking mechanism.
The friction control is present in all models except the small 492 head. The locking lever can be moved to the most convenient position, making it easierand quicker to work with this head.
All models featuring the quick release plate include an additional safety system that helps to prevent an accidental detaching of the camera from the head. These new Manfrotto heads are the ideal support for all needs!
The 494 and 494RC2 (will replace the 484 and 494RC2) is available in two different models: one is featuring a standard platform and one featuring a quick release plate. 496 - 496RC2 (will replace the 486 and 486RC2) This compact ball head is strong enough to load a 35mm SLR camera with medium-weight lenses and light medium format cameras.
