I haven?t actually taken this tripod out on a shoot yet as I just very recently received it, but upon taking it out of the box was very impressed at how sturdy and well made it is.

Good pair of sticks for the price. The clamps lock down nice and tight and they hold the weight of an FS5 with a full zoom very well. If you?re on a budget, they?re a great pair of sticks to have on run and gun shoots.

This is a rock solid tripod. I love the rotating level as many time the level is completely covered by the camera or accessories, even when pivoting as may be necessary. The ability to switch up the vertical tube to a horizontal layout is frosting-on-the-cake. The legs fan out quite nicely to allow very low shooting.

Manfrotto … There is absolutely NO reason to go to another for this type of product. Trust me, I did only to save a few $$ ... and now I will NEVER again. This tripod is built very very solid and yet light weight and flexible enuff for just about any shoot/location … especially those tricky locations …DEFINITELY a GREAT company and product …. I also own one of their monopods !! … and recently purchased the 608 video head ...

I bought this for my wife's blog and YouTube work. Our 13 year old is usually the one operating it. It's got flexible positioning options and is rock solid. I'm glad we chose this model!

Love this! It is very sturdy, not one to hike with, but perfect for studio work. I like all of that angle options too. I had to get an adapter in order for it to fit my camera, but that adapter offers more options too. I use the leveling "bubbles" and there are a few. I use a light box occasionally and the extension arm works great! Well worth the money!

Very heavy-duty, everything fastens very securely, and the legs are quite stable. The tilting center column is helpful for product / macro photography, which was my main goal for getting the legs. The latches to extend the legs are almost painfully tight--have to open them very deliberately and slowly--almost pinched my finger once when closing them. My previous different-brand tripod had similar latches that were quite secure but easily opened and closed for readjustment. That's my main gripe about the tripod overall: it's not a one-hand operation in most cases to adjust it, due to how tightly everything is connected; requires longer tinkering to set up right. However, once set-up, you can't go wrong with this one as a very stable studio tripod. This model has no spikes on the leg bottoms--only rubber. Also comes without a case, but due to the weight of this tripod, you'll probably use a different one for travel.

Excellent, fairly lightweight tripod. I purchased this tripod after researching several others, and I'm glad I chose this model for its relative portability and versatility (particularly the horizontal extension ability).

The combination of quality build, 90 degree center column, and quick release tabbed legs are fantastic on this tripod. My one caveat is that the center column is not long enough for counterbalancing and shooting from above at 90 degrees.

It’s a little stiff with the tilt and pan but I’m sure with a little use (and getting use to) it’ll be great! It has nice features and is sturdy. I trust walking away from it with my canon 70D 24 105 lens. When adjusting The legs out vertically, the buttons are a little tricky but again, with use I’m sure it’ll lighten up

Very stable and practical for architectural photography, fast adjustments, a little heavier than it should be but not a problem, excellent design and easy to use head.

Have used this tripod for about a month now. Works great. It is smaller folded than my last one. I thought about the carbon fiber model but twice the price and only a pound lighter wasn’t worth it to me. It is quite sturdy as I do long exposures up to 4 and 6 minutes with no shaking. The horizontal bar works good extended 3/4 of the was out and still stable. So far it has been a excellent purchase.

Very solid. Very easy to change height. Good material quality. I would ve liked that it included a bag to carry it.

I really like this tripod, and is my second Manfrotto. The only thing that I don't like is that the legs have thee extendable sections, vs just two for the MT290, however it is shorter, and more versatile with the weight ability and horizontal column.

Overall the build was a bit cheap feeling. Too many plastic parts and the arm feature is flimsy.

I have been using this on mobile shoots and portrait studio work at my home studio. I enjoy it's was of use. I have not used it in a nature setting yet, but it's ease of adjustment seems to lend its self well to unusual or uneven ground.

Great little tripod! I’ve owned the earlier version of the 190xpro and currently have the 055xprob. Loving the new locking mechanisms, but wish it went to the height and was as sturdy as the 055, but is just isn’t meant to be. I believe it can go lower, it is more compact, but honestly feels heavier; may just be in the head. The precision of the the 3-way head is unmatched! I love my 324cr pistol grip, but both have some major qualities and advantages to each style! For the price, this tripod is a steal!

I haven't used it extensively yet, but when I have it works quite well. Easy to extend and collapse and sturdy frame. One problem however, is I bought this mainly to travel with, which means it needs to fit in a rolling bag that's suited for overhead bins on airliners. I've tried different ways but I believe the center post will not come completely out of attachment to tripod, which means in order for this to fit in a rolling bag I must remove the ball head each time I want to pack it. If there is a way to remove the centerpost completely please let me know.

The MT190 XPRO 190 isn’t really considered a travel tripod but it can hold the weight of a heavy kit. This Tripod is outstanding and measures above the rest!!

This is a very sturdy convenient tripod. It is for photography but I use it for choreography because of the height, weight, and great price! But I can also use it for my photography equipment as well, so it's a win win!!!

This tripod is a very versatile tool for your photography. But, you must read the manual. I know it's not a guy thing to read the manual, but it is important for this tripod. You will be glad you did.

Great tripod. No regrets.
By DENNIS W.
I've had this tripod for about two weeks now and have absolutely no regrets with my purchase. It is easy to use and set up and is stable for my Nikon D750 with a 28 to 300 mm lens. The extending arm that swings out to a 90° angle is a major plus for me. I do a lot of studio work and find it absolutely necessary for some of the shots I want to make. For my money you cannot go wrong buying this tripod.
Great tripod - Read the Manual!

This tripod is a very versatile tool for your photography. But, you must read the manual. I know it's not a guy thing to read the manual, but it is important for this tripod. You will be glad you did.
Let the Manfrotto MK190XPRO3-3W Tripod Kit elevate your photography and videography to new heights. This comprehensive kit includes the 190XPRO3 Aluminum 3-Section Tripod, the innovative X-PRO 3-Way Head, and a Quick Release (QR) Camera Plate.
The standout feature of the 190XPRO3 is its unique 90-degree center column mechanism. This versatile design allows the column to extend both vertically and horizontally, providing a broad spectrum of framing and shooting possibilities. This makes the 190XPRO3 an exceptionally adaptable tripod, perfect for a wide array of photography and video applications.
The horizontal column mechanism is cleverly housed within the tripod's top casting for a compact design, but can be quickly and easily extended whenever required. The transition between vertical and horizontal column orientation is seamless, requiring no disassembly and can even be performed with a camera attached.
The 190XPRO3 tripod's legs are designed for quick extension and adjustment, thanks to the Quick Power Lock (QPL) levers that control each leg section. The QPL levers' unique design allows for single-handed opening of all leg sections in one swift action, providing a more stable and rigid tripod than traditional lever designs.
The tripod also features intuitive and ergonomic leg angle selectors, allowing each leg to be independently set to any of the preset angles for maximum positioning freedom. A built-in bubble level at the top of the center column ensures precise framing. The bubble level rotates freely around the center column, allowing for easy visibility while adjusting the tripod, without obstructing the mounted head and camera or interfering with controls.
The top casting of the 190XPRO3 is equipped with an Easy Link connector, perfect for supporting a photo or video accessory such as an LED light, flash, reflector, or other equipment. This feature transforms the tripod into a practical mobile studio.
The X-PRO 3-Way Head, included in the kit, boasts retractable levers for an ultra-compact design and new friction controls on the portrait and tilt axes. These features aid in balancing the weight of camera equipment, allowing for fine framing adjustments to be made with the locking knobs open, securing everything only once the shot is ready.
In summary, the Manfrotto MK190XPRO3-3W Tripod Kit is a sturdy, durable, and versatile tool, designed for both professional photographers and videography enthusiasts. Its high-quality construction and innovative features make it a reliable choice for capturing stunning visuals.
