Great Tripod for the price

I mostly do portraits and long exposure shots. This tripod is perfect for that. Even with my battery grip the tripod supports my camera. Granted it's not a heavy camera to begin with (Canon 600D). I love it and it's great, especially for the price!

Does what it says on the tin

Our community college purchased a few of these tripods for use by photography students and the library's media center. An excellent choice for non-professional use. They are lightweight, perfect for carrying across campus to document events, classes, meetings, etc. Although the head doesn't move all that smoothly this does not matter much when taking still photos or shooting basic video. The carrying bag is also lightweight and simple, if not particularly protective. The tripod is surprisingly sturdy. Glad to have this model & wold enthusiastically recommend.
