An excellent tripod for the price! I bought it to replace another Manfrotto tripod that I bought back in 2008.

Excellent value

I go this for my 5D MK IV with Canon MP-E 65 and Macro Rail. Setup and break down are easy. My only complaint is the head adjustment. Making find adjustments is a task to say the least. The head seems to bind. You loosen the know, try to adjust and nothing. Loosen more, try to adjust, nothing. Loosen more..  BAM it lets go quickly. I have tried the little tension adjustment  that is recesses in the knob but it does not help. I can see this tripod being just right for maybe just a camera body and walk around lens or a point and shoot.  Another point of binding is the height adjustment. Once weight is added to the head, unless that weight is perfectly centered, you will get binding. Difficult to raise and lower.

I know I said mostly negative things but I think the issue is that it cannot handle much weight at all. Probably the perfect tripod for really light gear.

Excellent reform of this tripot

I tried first time ,  rc2 plate stuck on the tripod head I am not able use it, planing to return

I loved this tripod. It was a good upgrade. The only complaint I have is that the screws on the legs need to be rotated really tight, otherwise the legs come out easily which is a hassle especially when you are on the go or have tripod attached to the bag.

Great Tripod!

Love this tripod.  I have been shooting all hand held but am ready to take more time to compose and focus rather than just pulling the trigger.  This tripod is both sturdy and light.  I really do not have any 'cons'.  Highly recommended.

Great Tripod at an affordable price

I recommend this tripod. The structure is sound, it is easily adjustable, the latching of the legs is easy to do and the ball head friction knobs work very well. I recommend this as a good value.

I am thrilled with the quality of this tripod. Manfrotto makes nice equipment, and I am sure that I will be using this tripod for years to come.

Sturdy Ball-head tripod

I got the original Be free and hated it.  I knew going in that in was a little on the flimsy side , but I felt that I was skilled enough to make it work What I didn't foresee was the nearly impossible task of getting the quick (LOL) release plate into the ballhead. It virtually took sometimes up to ten minutes to mount it, unless I just got too frustrated and quit all together. The Be free advanced has a much better system and is slightly sturdier so it should easily handle both my Canon and Fuji gear. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because no tripod is perfect just like no camera bag is perfect.  That's why I have more than one. I will say it's perfect for what I intend to use it for.
