Light, convenient, and sturdy

I love this tripod! It's exactly as described. And the carry case with strap is a nice bonus for an affordably priced tripod. Thumbs up!

Nice lightweight tripod only good for mirrorless and or iPhone Photography. This is basically a very basic lightweight tripod nothing more. The price s Complements the quality!

Good stuff at reasonable price

Fortunately Manfrotto does a good stuff even if this is low-level and cheap equipment.

Amazing Compact Tripod

I purchased 15 of these tripods for the photography class that I teach. They arrived quickly without any damage to the packaging. The tripods are very sturdy despite their light weight. The ballhead makes it easy to position the camera at any angle. This amazing tripod can handle a full size DSLR with no trouble. It also stands up to all the abuse that my high school students can give it. I highly recommend this tripod. I also recommend Adorama for anyone thinking about purchasing quality photography supplies at an affordable price!

For Those Who Don't Want to Mess With a Tripod

Compact, light, nice carrying bag, and just the right size ... In other words, yes, you will actually want to carry this one. And use it. I teach a photography class at the local Community College. Very few students have tripods. Even less use them. For the price, this one seems to be just what they are looking for. Lightweight, compact, and did I mention lightweight? Cheaper -- by a LOT -- than any college textbook. Perfect.

Perfect.

The Manfrotto 4-Section Compact Light Aluminum Red Tripod is the lightest tripod in Manfrotto range and is the natural connection between a mini and full size tripod. It has been perfectly designed to fit all Compact System Cameras and thanks to its compact dimensions and feather-light weight, it is born to be with you always. With the universal 1/4" camera attachment and the new quick wheel you can attach and detach your camera in seconds. The built-in ball head and the single adjustment knob are perfect for quick positioning of the camera and for easy locking all movements.

The Compact Light Tripod is ideal for Compact System Cameras but thanks to the universal 1/4" screw thread and the easy attachment it can be used with a huge variety of digital devices up to 1.5kg/3.3lbs such as the iPhone (with KLYP+), all types of Compact Cameras and Bridges. If using an entry level DSLRs with the Compact Light Tripod it is recommended using only standard kit lenses to maintain the same level of performance that you will experience with lighter cameras.

If you own a Sony Nex 5R/5T you have certainly noticed that these particular models have a very small surface area around the mounting thread. For this reason, in each Compact Light Tripod box, you will find a special adapter that will increase the surface area of these specific cameras in order to better grip the tripod and obtain maximum stability.

What's in the box:

  • Manfrotto 4-Section Compact Light Aluminum Tripod
  • Carrying Bag
  • Manfrotto 2 Year Warranty (Additional 3 Years with Online Registration)
