Plestenly surprised, plenty strong for my Micro 4/3 cameras.
Compact, lightweight and plenty sturdy enough for M4/3 cameras and smaller. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and build of this monopod. I also have the next larger Manfrotto monopod (6.6# capacity) but this smaller, lighter pole is going to get more use from me.
The Manfrotto Compact Aluminum Red/Anthracite Monopod is extremely portable and lightweight, perfect for shooting great pictures and movies in any circumstance with minimum effort. The ergonomic grip, made of a new softer material and the wrist-strap ensure a safe hold and minimum risk of dropping the camera. It has been designed to fit the aesthetic and performance of any Compact System Camera. The universal camera attachment is safely covered by the protective cap when not in use so that the metal is not exposed when in your bag.
The Compact Monopod is ideal for Compact System Cameras but thanks to the universal 1/4" screw thread it can be used with a huge variety of digital devices up to 1.5kg/3.3lbs such as the iPhone (with KLYP+), all types of Compact Cameras, CSC's and Bridges. If using an entry level DSLRs with the Compact Monopod it is recommended using only standard kit lenses to maintain the same level of performance that you will experience with lighter cameras. To preserve and protect its finishing and original color it is recommended to clean it with a standard white pencil eraser.
