I love this monopod. Perfect for shooting events. It's very light, versatile, & sturdy. Expensive but worth it.

I've had this monopod for over two years now, using it for both photo and video work. It's sturdy and will get the job done. The extendable height is great as well as the option to tilt it forward and back. Once you buy it, you have the option to do the warranty via Manfrotto directly; it's good for up to 5 years, and it's worth taking the time to register it with them. That process is easy too. As for the payload, it can be easy to go over the limit, especially with heavy setups. But you can mount anything to this monopod if it has a 1/4 20 so it's worth the investment. You will have to get a case with it, and I would recommend it. That way, it's protected and will be long-lasting. The only thing I don't like is that it can be easily top-heavy if you accidentally go over the payload. Other than that, it's a solid monopod that can handle anything.

All I can say is wow. It's sturdy, I like the locking legs. Probably this best monopod I have owned. I was skeptical of the price, but when I used it for my sports photography and birds in flight It was a lifesaver. I used it with a small gimbal and it worked great.. I did take the feet support off. I found I didn't need it. And it did come with a rubber foot. Very secure and I wasn't concerned with support. Can't recommend this enough. I do wish It came with a case though.

Worked as expected. Great locking mechanism. Able to accept both usual thread sizes. Heavier than expected but fine with sturdier feel. Will be using on a trip to Africa this summer.

This Manfrotto monopod is built like a tank, just like its tripod counterpart. Some photographers might feel its too heavy but if you are shooting sports with big heavy lenses, you want stability and safety for your equipment. This is your monopod.

This is a great run-and-gun tripod. I love quick release plate that works with a lot of other heads I use with other mounts.

This Manfrotto tripod really comes in handy when I'm shooting early in the morning in low light levels and permits me to make stabler wildlife videos.

Honestly, when I mount my canon 1DX Mark II with a 400 mm 2.8 lens, I’m uncomfortable that this monopod can support it. I like the ease of extension. For a smaller setup, I think it’s perfect. But I shoot with “big guns”!!!! Joe

Probably the best monopod out there. It’s light weight and the rubber grip is great. It can actually hold my sony6500 with 85mm 1.8. Without any problems.

Still adapting to using a monopod, but everything is working well and appears well built.

I have not used it yet, other then in the backyard due to the weather, and either snow or mud all around. I will say it is easy to use with the 500mm telephoto lens attached. Once I attach the camera to it, it is fairly easy to handle and use.

Needed a heavy duty mono for my Sigma 150-600 Sport Lens and Nikon D3s and this definitely holds them both with no problem. Love this purchase. Great customer service as always

Nice addition to equipment. Light Wright, move fast without having to collapse. Holds my video Camera. Use it in the snow too.

I needed this to support a rather heavy unstabilized telephoto setup. I'm using it with an Induro ball-head at the moment. The only issue I have with it is that the hand-strap tends to work itself out of the buckle-mechanism really easily.

Best mono pod in the market

Probably the best monopod out there. It’s light weight and the rubber grip is great. It can actually hold my sony6500 with 85mm 1.8. Without any problems.
The new 5-section XPRO Monopod is a professional carbon fiber monopod made to satisfy photographers who want to leverage the height of their monopod to achieve the broadest range of shooting angles and need to be able to easily close it and carry it in their camera bag. Its 100% carbon fiber tubes ensure the monopod's noticeable lightness, supreme rigidity and better absorption of micro movements for excellent image quality and portability. Combined with the Quick Power Lock (QPL), which strongly locks the lever thanks to an easy ergonomic mechanism, this eliminates unwanted jerky movements.
This monopod is compatible with Manfrotto's full fluid base (MVMXPROBASE) and allows you to transform your photo monopod into a professional full fluid video monopod. The innovative FLUIDTECH solution allows for a 3D fluid movement - on pan, tilt and swivel, with a pioneering technology based on a spherical system located inside the base which deliver ultimate smoothness through an expanded range of perspectives. The three retractable feet make it extremely portable when folded and allow the monopod to be easily carried everywhere.
The MVMXPROBASE can be attached to the XPRO Photo Monopod+ by unscrewing the foot at the bottom of the monopod and convert the photo monopod to a video one for smooth video footage. The MVMXPROBASE is compatible with all XPRO Photo Monopods+, but the MMXPROA3B. The MPMXPROC5 is a 5-section camera monopod that reaches a max height of 176cm (69.3in). When paired with a monopod head, like the 234RC photo monopod head, it dramatically expands the vertical range of the shooting experience.
It is the perfect combination of performance and portability: easy to carry while quickly moving from one shooting spot to another, with the tremendous stiffness and solidity of carbon fiber legs. Enriched with newly designed leg warmer and dual 1/4" - 3/8" camera fixing screw, it is now even handier and more versatile out in the field. The MPMXPROA5 replaces the Manfrotto 695CX.
