While maintaining its compact design, the MVMXPROBASE fluid base revolutionizes video shooting with its innovative FLUIDTECH system, a feature that sets the Manfrotto XPRO Monopod+ apart as the first in the market to offer 3D fluidity. This cutting-edge solution provides unparalleled smoothness in all three dimensions - pan, tilt, and swivel, thanks to its pioneering technology centered around a spherical system housed within the base. When your shooting priority is panning, the 3D rotation can be securely locked in the vertical position, allowing for free pan movement and enhanced shooting control. Please note, however, that the vertical lock does not ensure complete self-standing support when the camera is mounted. The FLUIDTECH base can be effortlessly attached to the XPRO Photo Monopod+ by simply unscrewing the foot at the monopod's bottom. This easy conversion transforms your photo monopod into a video monopod, enabling the capture of seamlessly smooth video footage. The FLUIDTECH Base is also offered as a kit with all new XPRO Monopod+ Video monopods. The MVMXPROBASE is designed to be compatible with all XPRO Photo Monopods+, with the sole exception of the MMXPROA3B. The MVMXPROBASE serves as a replacement for the MVA50A. Crafted in Italy, the MVMXPROBASE fluid base is a testament to superior quality and design, offering stability when the legs are extended and folding neatly for easy transport. This is a fantastic addition to my monopod.  It provides stability when the legs are extended and folds nicely for transport. Also pivots easily when the base is unlocked from it’s fixed position. Is also made in Italy and not in Asia
