The Manfrotto Nitrotech Head & Carbon Fiber Twin Leg Tripod system combines a state-of-the-art head and a premium-quality tripod to meet the demands of professional filmmaking and other similar applications. The carbon fiber tripod comes with either a mid-level spreader or a ground spreader—with telescoping arms for easy leg angle adjustments—and is built to support heavier camera and accessory combinations (with a total payload capacity of 44.1 pounds) while remaining lightweight for easy transport. It features a rigid two-stage leg design, secure leg locks, and twin spiked feet with rubber overshoes to provide stability and security in all kinds of terrain—even flat, soft, or uneven surfaces. The included Nitrotech N8 or N12 fluid video head offers a maximum payload of 17.6 (N8) to 26.4 (N12) pounds and utilizes a Nitrogen piston counterbalance system for precise control based on the weight of your camera rig. Other features include a variable fluid drag system to ensure the smoothest panning and tilting shots; a sliding plate attachment with side-lock mechanism for quick and easy camera mounting; and a flat base mount with a ⅜-inch thread connection to support sliders, jibs, cranes, and more.

The video system includes the NITROTECH N12 fluid video head (flat base) and the MVTTWINMCUS carbon fiber twin leg with middle spreader tripod.

The NITROTECH N12 fluid video head features state-of-the-art technology consisting in a Nitrogen piston mechanism that allows continuous counterbalance system that enables precise control of a camera and accessories from 4 to 12 Kg @ 55mm C.O.G..

The variable fluid drag system function on both pan and tilt allows smooth, judder-free movement. It also features a 3/8" Easy Link equipped with an anti-rotation function that enables an external monitor or other accessories to be fitted.

The sliding plate attachment side-lock mechanism allows safe, quick and easy camera attachment. The NITROTECH head has a flat base mount with a standard 3/8" thread that is highly versatile for different support combinations (tripod, slider, jib or crane).

The head attaches to the tripod thanks to a 100 mm half ball.
