Pretty great tripod. Fully extended it is as tall or a little shorter than me (I’m 5’10”). It’s pretty much perfect except for the levels being a little off. Besides that, I would definitely buy it again if I needed to.

This tripod is everything it claims. The different positions that it legs can be put into, really makes it a lot easier to work with. The construction of the tripod is really good and strong as I using it with a very heavy camera and Len and it holds it with no problems.

I could not pass up the deal on this tripod during the Black Friday sale. I like that it has a carrying bag and folds down so small. It seems to be well made and has rubber feet as well as metal pins for other surfaces I guess. The thing I don't like is that there are no real owner's guide with it other than a book of diagrams showing generally how to use it. It would benefit from a better user guide. Overall a good deal on a good tripod.

Works great and folds up making it easier to pack. I like the head which operates well and has levels for easier set up. I haven’t used the monopod yet, but it’s a nice option. Great value. I recommend it. Two things that are less than great. Attaching the camera is awkward because you take the plate off. Not crazy difficult and it’s useful if you need to the camera off quickly to shoot handheld. As others mentioned, it is also heavy. I took it out for a hike and as surprised at its heft. You can sling it over your shoulder using the included bag. This may be better way to distribute the weight than attaching it to a camera bag.

Very hard to use, particularly the top for the camera refuses tobe locked in place! A huge disappointment

Good quality with smooth unfolding operation and precise monoball angle control. Great accessories (metal spikes, hex wrenches, thread adapter). Stability is good when use with 70-200 f2.8 Canon lens. Light weight.

The tripod is very well made, all metal and very sturdy. I was looking for a lighter tripod to take with me instead of my two full-sized Manfrotto tripods. This will fill the bill for any photographer, amateur or pro, looking for a lightweight yet sturdy tripod.

The only negative is max height is around 53.9 inches. All other options are fine with this tripod and steady ,good for travel.

I've purchased other travel tripods, but PrimaPhoto travel kit was, while slightly pricier and heavier, far superior in terms of quality & features. The reasons for my 4 vs. 5-star rating are my lack of familiarity with HQ tripods and that I haven't yet had a chance to use it. My previous full-size tripod was purchased at K-Mart in the 1970s. As a hobbyist photographer, however, I plan to use the PrimaPhoto tripod for the duration: time to let the K-Mart special go.

The tripod is very compact for the many features it packs. While not the lightest tripod out there, it is still relatively lightweight. It seems to be very well built and can take some beatings. I like the ability to remove a leg and use it as a monopod when a full tripod is not needed (especially for sports). I also like the arca type mount on the ball head. It makes it easy to use my peak design tripod mount. Overall I am impressed with the tripod and would definitely recommend!

... for two lenses, filters, and whatnot. What's not to like? Just strap it on your belt and off you go.

Great travel tripod, folds small for packing, very versatile and sturdy for it's size. Great addition if you're shooting mirrorless systems or small DLSRs

Awesome tripod. I wasn't sure about this brand, but reading online from others, and seeing a couple videos put my mind at ease. It's very sturdy, and secure. I loved the price, and it arrive exactly as described. My first purchase from Adorama, and it couldn't have gone any smoother.

Everything about the tripod is great except for the weight. It is as heavy as my full size tripod, a Benro. Nice size but if you are weight limited, not so much.

Hey, this thing is cute. It works. I wish it came with two heads not just the one. Why, I have two cameras. Well worth the money!

I was looking for a decent, not too heavy travel tripod with a ball head. When I saw this on sale at Adorama I wasn't sure if it would be the right one mainly because it was quite cheap compared to similar models. But I decided to try it out and surprise surprise! It's a great deal. The tripod feels quite solid, isn't that heavy, and even has a monopod option. I am yet to test it in the outdoors but at this time it's a pleasant surprise and I like it.

This compact tripod is able to easily handle a full size DSLR and a long lens. The locks disengage easily and engage securely. This tripod will always be on my travel list. The level indicators are also very useful.

Light tripod, fits in the carry on luggage/bag for air travel, able to handle a Canon 1DX with 100-400mm lens, sturdy. Wish it comes with 2 plates to attach to the 2 cameras, instead of just 1 plate, which requires switching back and forth of the plate onto the camera or the zoom lens.

Perfect for travel and use with smaller cameras--cropped sensor and mirrorless. Assembles quickly. It is light and easy to carry around, yet doesn't seem flimsy. Legs can be adjusted low for shots nearer to the ground. I haven't used the monopod conversion yet, so I'm not sure how well that works.
